Ronin allows for the rapid development and distribution of code over many of the common Source-Code-Management (SCM) systems.

All source code within Ronin is licensed under the GPL-2, therefore no user will ever have to pay for Ronin or updates to Ronin. Not only is the source code free, the Ronin project will not sell enterprise grade security snake-oil solutions, give private training classes or later turn Ronin into commercial software.
Modular
Ronin was not designed as one monolithic library but instead as a collection of libraries which can be individually installed. This allows users to pick and choose what functionality they want in Ronin.
Decentralized
Ronin does not have a central repository of exploits and payloads which all developers contribute to. Instead Ronin has Overlays, repositories of code that can be hosted on any CVS/SVN/Git/Rsync server. Users can then use Ronin to quickly update or install Overlays. This allows users and developers to form their own communities, independent of the main developers of Ronin.

Car Companion is a small utility written in Java to help keep track of your vehicles maintenance schedule. It allows you to keep track of multiple vehicles and lets you select and create maintenance items for your vehicle and the intervals at which they should occur. It also generates two reports for users. A vehicle sticker to keep in your car that tells you when maintenance needs to be performed, and a Service Report which shows a complete service history for the vehicle.
Car Companion is a Java based application that I began working on in July 2003. I wanted a tool to help me keep track of the maintenance that I do on my Jeep. I could not find anything out there that fit my needs, so I decided to write my own. This little program allows me to keep track of all my maintenance and print out reports and a sticker to keep in my glove box, so that I know when I need to perform the next oil change, replace the air filter, change the brakes, etc.
It is a free open source application. All of the source is available in a separate jar file that you can download. You can check out my project page at sourceforge.
I chose Java so that it could be run on any operating system: Mac, Unix, Linux, or Windows. The data is stored in a xml file so that it can be easily transferred to any database or xml supported program.

- Fixed the cost conversion bug. It now sorts the services entered by date, so the newest always shows last.

Tanker Rescue Squad 1.0 is a program created for math students in grades 5 through 8. Students use a printed map, centimeter ruler, and protractor to plot the course of an on-screen rescue ship. This is a good introduction to scale; heading and angles; and metric measurement. Students must guide their rescue ship around a small group of geometric islands to reach the foundering oil tanker in time.

Enhancements:
- Album Shaper has changed radically since the last version. Importing photos is several times faster. So is rotating and flipping photos, and its now lossless (meaning image quality never degrades) too! Lots and lots of bugs have been fixed, especially after an entire month of solid testing by over 18 dedicated beta testers. Internationalization support has improved leaps and bounds, impart thanks to the new help system that comes with this release. But most importantly, the photo editing side of Album Shaper has been completely rewritten. You can now quickly crop photos to standard dimensions (e.g. 5x7), drag out selections and move them around, scale selections in place, rotate selections, even drag selection edges and corners independently, before cropping. A new tilt-correction tool has been added that is remarkably easy and accurate to use. You can touch up photos with several advanced enhancing tools (color, contrast, and very sophisticated red-eye removal), in addition to using advanced levels and grain editors. For kicks Ive even thrown in a few manipulations (black + white, sepia coloring, inversion, color embossing, and an oil painting effect).
