BetterSearch does not modify the ranking of any search results. It only looks at the search result and inserts additional information (thumbnails / product images, product prices). There is no "hidden promotion" involved. The results are not changed in any way, the order is the same, and the search requests are not tinkered with in any way. The only thing that is added to the Amazon search results (in case there are Amazon search results) is my Amazon ID. Actually, other extensions do the exact same thing, but youre not told about it here.

Fityk is specialized in fitting peaks (bell-shaped functions like Gaussian, Loretzian, Pearson 7, Voigt) to experimental data. There are also people using it to remove the baseline from data, or to display data only.
Major Features:
- Fityk is reportedly used in crystallography, chromatography, photoluminescence and photoelectron spectroscopy, infrared and Raman spectroscopy, to name but a few.
