Eclipse 3.1
Eclipse - Extensible IDE for development of highly integrated tools more>>
The Eclipse Project is an open source software development project dedicated to providing a robust, full-featured, commercial-quality, industry platform for the development of highly integrated tools.
The mission of the Eclipse Project is to adapt and evolve the eclipse technology to meet the needs of the eclipse tool building community and its users, so that the vision of eclipse as an industry platform is realized.
Eclipse is a kind of universal tool platform - an open extensible IDE for anything and yet nothing in particular
The real value comes from tool plug-ins that "teach" Eclipse how to work with things - java files, web content, graphics, video - almost anything one can imagine. Eclipse allows tool builders to independently develop tools that integrate with other peoples tools so seamlessly you cant tell where one tool ends and another starts.

ConsultComm 3.1.1
ConsultComm is a small, lightweight, platform-independent program written in Java that allows anyone managing multiple projects more>>
ConsultComm Project Timekeeper is a small, lightweight, platform-independent program written in Java that allows anyone managing multiple projects, clients or tasks to effectively keep track of exactly how long theyve worked on each project.
Since I started development in November of 1999, several other time tracking projects have popped up. But ConsultComm is unique from other applications since it is:
Easily integrated into your existing time management or billing system; JDBC support is included so you can instantly upload all your times and projects into most JDBC and ODBC compliant databases
Platform-independent, so you can unify all your OS X, Windows, Linux and Solaris workstations with a single application
Released as open source, so you dont have to worry about vendor lock-in or customization problems. Download and use ConsultComm freely under the GPL, without having to worry about paying any license fees
Quickly extensible by utilizing plugins created using the standard JavaBeans framework. Users and other developers can easily create their own plugins to quickly add custom functionality to ConsultComm
Customizeable to uniquely fit your own personal style preferences thanks to SkinLF.
Enhancements:
- A toggle to turn the JDBC plugin on or off was added.
- All currency is now ensured to follow the Java locale.
- The .spec file was fixed to remove the deprecated "Copyright" tag.
- The tarball was fixed to include NetBeans generated properties.
- A new ConsultComm icon was added.
- Some dialog boxes were moved to Suns new absolute layout.
- The TimeTracker plugin now defaults to uninstalled in Windows.

DarwinPorts 1.3.1
DarwinPorts - Install various open-source software on Darwin OS family more>>
The aim of the DarwinPorts project is to develop a second-generation system for the building, installation and management of third party software. DarwinPorts is mainly developed on Mac OS X, however by design it is quite portable and is intended to work on other UNIX-like systems, especially *BSD and hopefully Linux-based systems.
DarwinPorts is probably best described by comparison: Its sort of like the FreeBSD ports collection or Fink in that it automates the process of building third party software for Mac OS X and other operating systems. DarwinPorts also tracks all dependency information for a given piece of software. In other words, it knows what it needs to build and install and in what order for the piece of software you want to work properly. DarwinPorts knows how to make, build and install the software to a specific location, meaning that software installed via DarwinPorts doesnt simply scatter itself all over the system or require user knowledge of dependencies in what order.
Enhancements:
- Fixed a bug in livecheck sourceforge guess algorithm. (pguyot)
- Fixed an incompatibility of darwintrace.c with MacOS X 10.3. Darwintrace.c now also compiles on Linux. (pguyot)
- Fixed a bug introduced by a patch to the fetch code. Now, fetch target can really deal with patch files even if the main fetch method is CVS or SVN. (pguyot)
- Fixed a bug, introduced in 1.3, that prevented -f selfupdate from forcing a build of the fetched sources. (jberry)
- Fixed a bug, introduced in 1.3, that prevented -u uninstall from working. (jberry)
- Fixed a bug in xcode portgroup. One variable used by the group conflicted with global variables in port base code. (pguyot)
- Added a new test case for a cvs+remote patch file bug. (pguyot)
- Added ruby gems support for ruby group. (rcavanaugh & pguyot)
- Trace now forbids creation of directories outside the sandbox. (pguyot)
- Additions to man page for port(1): (jberry)
new port options -F, -i, -x, -p
mention interactive and batch modes
document extensions to info command.
- Archive mode is now disabled by default. (landonf)
- The upgrade target now properly detects and uses a matching binary archive if found, an uninstall && install combination needed up till now to pick it up. (jmpp).
