PictureEffects 6.6 is known as an interesting REALbasic plugin to do picture manipulation on 32bit images. The plugin is supported on PPC, Carbon, Mach-O, Win32 and Linux target platforms.

Enhancements:

• Added a low level Map effect, that basically does the same as the REALbasic's built in RGBSurface.Transform except of course using the PictureEffects multiprocessing engine.

• On the RotateEffect and ScaleEffect classes the alpha channel is now also distorted within the same multiprocessing core, previously you had to process the alpha channel separately (REALbasic 2009r1 and later).

Picture Namer is used to name a folder full of pictures. It is ideal for naming a folder of pictures freshly downloaded from a digital camera.
Picture Namer gives you the option to preserve the picture order, add a group name to every picture and automatically number pictures with the same name.
Enhancements:
- Updated to be a Universal binary (PowerPC and Intel native).

Pixer is a small and easy to use tool created to help you rescale Png, Jpeg and Tiff images in batch.

Drag a image or a group of images into Pixer icon and type the size you want (for exemple 500 is 500 pixel): Pixel convert them to the typed size.

Hint 1: leave the insert window blank and press OK, Pixer leave the size unchanged and building the icon to all images.

Hint 2: for PNG 24bit, Pixer icon abilities preserve trasparency!

Hint 3: type H for 800pixel, M for 480pixel, L for 305pixel and T for 80pixel. If you use letters instead of numbers, Pixer insert a standard prefix and postfix in the name of image (image.jpg becomes H_image_1.jpg)

Hint 4: type percentage instead of pixel (50%, 74%, 16%)

Hint 5: type two dimensions and Pixer crops or to adds pad to image (for example, 1440x900 instead of 1440)

Raw Photo Processor is a very useful RAW converter, supporting almost all available digital RAW formats made for photographers by a photographer-programmer with unmeasurable amount of help and tutoring from my friend, professional photographer Iliah Borg.
We just got fed up with those converters made by programmers for their upper management :)
Think of it as of a development machine in terms of film photography - first you have to develop your roll right, then do whatever you want with it.
So this is NOT a full featured photo processing package, you will need Photoshop or some other tool to apply sharpness, cropping and so on, but you may use RPP for some very limited amount of operations.
Let me list those operations below with some explanations:
4-channel white balance - this is probably the most important operation in RAW processing and it has to be applied at very early stages of processing.
- Exposure compensation - another very sensitive step, should use high precision math to preserve shadows and highlights and it is almost impossible to make it properly during post-processing in Photoshop.
- Saturation - very tricky operation, because it has to account for specifics in humans color perception and traditionally its implemented with very crude methods. Im trying to keep up with Color Science and using a lot more sophisticated approach.
- Brightness and contrast - these represent my and Iliahs Borg attempts to create tone curve adjustments based on actual film density measures in different development modes. After all you finally should be able to obtain that dearly-looking film-like tonality in your pictures.
- Interpolation - RPP supports 3 methods at the moment. AHD, VNG and Half - all modified versions of Dave Coffins implementations in dcraw. Actually Half is not interpolation - this is a half resolution recombination when four single-colored pixels (RGBG) combined to one RGB, very fast, color accurate, but at price of lost resolution.
- Highlights recovery - a simple tool to neutralize clipped channels if present (f.e. the "pink sky" problem).
Enhancements:
- New feature - monochrome mode. This includes Photobrom Black, Bromportret Sepia, Iodocont Green, Iodocont Blue and experimental Red-O-Green profiles. All made by Iliah Borg as always. All of them measured from real photo papers. In this mode channel balance sliders act like a channel mixer, so you may adjust influence of each channel on overall tonality individually.
- Added custom profile for Olympus E410.
- Help menu - provide feedback and copy crash log to clipboard (so you can paste to email for me). Also it gives easy access to RPPs document file.
- Copy Tags option state is preserved between restarts and also now it copies embedded to Raw IPTC info (if you have any).
- Fixed red dots issue AKA weird colors in clipped highlights or shadows.
- Other fixes and UI tweaks. F.e. Local Contrast may be disabled now without loosing its value and you may quickly check its effect on an image.

Carry Tasks Overis an Entourage AppleScript which carries your uncompleted tasks over if they have a due date which has passed.

The script will also update the remind date and time of your Task (if any) to todays date, preserving the original reminders time of day.

MultipleImageFile adds two methods, which allow developers to extract images from files that contain multiple images or layers such as TIFF, FlashPix, and Photoshop files. If an alpha channel is present it is preserved by creating an appropriate mask for the REALpicture. This plugin can also load single image files in any format supported by QuickTime.
