Free your character software for mac

WebAlbum can publish your pictures on internet or CD without any knowledge of HTML.

Just drop a folder with pictures (filenames up to 28 characters, without special characters) on it and here we go.

The foldername will be used as titel and sitename. The foldername can have "&" as special character. WebAlbum supports JPG, TIFF, GIF und PICT.

The Sims Bin Laden Skin is a custom skin that allows you to have a Osama Bin Laden character in your house.

Excel Character Stripper is a script application used to seek and destroy any ASCII character in an excel spreadsheet.

Completly freeware.

ASCII&Back is an applescript that allows you to type in a character and then get the ASCII number or HTML entity for it. As a bonus, it will also give you the HTML special character, when available.

Not all characters can be converted (because they are non-standard or are platform-specific).

Samurai Jack is an icons set created after the popular cartoon character.

The 4-World Planet is a text-adventure game, meaning that you control your character by typing commands; for example, if youre in a room with a door, you can type "open door" to open the door.
The storyline: You are an astronaut. You go on a solo mission to a planet that was recently discovered. But the planets gravity is stronger than you expected, so you are forced to perform a crash landing, damaging certain parts of your ship. You must explore the planet and find replacement parts, helping people and finding treasures along the way. You will periodically need to deal with things like getting hungry or thirsty. The game will warn you when you need to do something like eat or drink.
Enhancements:
- Added fancier characters (curly quotes, em-dashes, etc.)
- Fixed grammar issues involving plural nouns
- The 4-World Planet is now a Universal Binary.

countchar is a small scripting addition which enables you to count occurences of a character in a string.

This small osax contains just a single command, "countchar" for this task.

To install the osax, just copy it into Library/ScriptingAdditions within your home directory. The syntax should be easy enough to understand with the provided example script.

The goal of Project LRNJ is to make LeaRNing Japanese fun and easy with a retro-style RPG: Slime Forest.

The game is still under development, but many students already find it useful, and it can currently teach you katakana, hiragana, and over a thousand kanji, essential character recognition for reading Japanese.
