updateFinder is a stay-open applet that tries to get the pre-Tiger Finder to show up to date information on how much free disk space is available. For reasons beyond me the Mac OS X pre-Tiger Finder doesnt do this by itself.
To use itiInstall wherever you want (~/Library/Scripts would make sense) and make sure it is always running.
Known issue: having any file (not a folder) selected in a Finder window will make the Finder not update that Finder window.

Link Me!/Open Me! is an interesting set of scripts! "Link Me!" will allow you to place a link button to another QuarkXPress document on the current documents layout. When run, the script will prompt you for the document to "link to" and then create a picture box containing an icon on the top left of the current page.
It will also place a text box containing the name of the "link to" file next to the picture box.
Select both boxes (group them if you like) and move them to the pasteboard or wherever you desire. The text box containing the "link to" doc name is created for your convienince and may be deleted if you want since the picture box contains the link!
To open "link to" documents, select the link icon boxes representing the files to open (dont worry if theyre grouped since the script will find "see" them anyway), and run the "Open Me!" script--it will open all "link to" documents. If a "link to" document has been moved to another location, the script will offer to find every matching file and open them. The "Open Me!" script requires the scriptable Finder that ships with system 7.5 or higher.

toPositionTheDock is a small application to edit DockMenus.plist. It just adds a few lines of text which will show the extra options when you control-click the Dock (Position on screen). Now you can easily put your Dock wherever you want. DockMenus.plist is owned by the system so the app needs the admin password to edit it.
toPositionTheDock will only work in Dutch, English, French, Danish, Italian, German and Spanish so far. Send me your translation ("Top", "Left", "Right", "Bottom", "Start position", "Center", "End position") and Ill add them.
To manually undo the changes made by toPositionTheDock go to /System /Library /Coreservices /Dock.app /Contents /Resources /your_language.lproj, remove DockMenus.plist and rename DockMenus.plist old to DockMenus.plist. Restart the Dock.
