Spindownfix tells the computer if the Energy Saver is off not to spindown non-boot volumes. This problem has been noted as a problemwhen doing video capture in Mac OS X, as frames get dropped if the hard drive isnt spinning when files are written to it.

Frame Image is an AppleScript for PhotoFlash that will create a frame around the frontmost image. You can indicate the thickness and the script uses either black or the current background color for the frame.

AnimAide is for stop motion animation but it could also be used other traditional animation (e.g. pencil tests). It captures frames from a digital still camera or it may be used in conjunction with other remote capture software. (Preferably with a live feed).

Beat Direktor is a widget designed for video artists who work with music on a regular basis. You simply enter the BPM (beats per minute, or tempo) of the song you are using, the frame rate at which you are working at, and the beats per measure (generally 4 for pop music). Click the kompute button, and it tells you how many video frames there are per beat of music, measure, and 4 measures. Very handy for synching up animation and music!

Future updates may allow you to specify changes in song pattern for easy keyframing in another app.

FrameBlenderQT is a QuickTime Movie Export component which uses oversampling to increase the quality of still images captured with a video camera. A sequence of frames is captured with a video camera then blended together into a single image.

FrameBlender is primarily useful to remove random noise. Since the noise is different in every frame, blending many frames together acts to cancel out the noise.
