This small utility application was created to export the sound track of QuickTime movie files into AIFF files. This way I can take some of my movies and get the sound track into iTunes. In iTunes you can use the Advanced menu to convert the AIFF to MP3 or AAC to save space. Chapters in the movie are preserved.

MP3 Title Converter is a simple utility that makes it easy to change MP3 filenames. Why do you need such a utility? Recently, I purchased a DVD player that could play MP3 discs. After burning my MP3 files to a disc and playing it on my DVD player, I noticed something - only the first 8 characters of each song was displayed.

Since most of my files began with either the artists name or the track number from the original CD, the titles on the screen didnt tell me what the song really was. My only option was to manually rename all of my files. Thats why I wrote this utility.

There are some preferences you can change. You can specify the number of characters your DVD player displays. You can also specify if your DVD player strips out spaces and converts the title to all caps.
