Date Format OSAX 1.1 is capable of formatting date and time values into human readable strings effectively. It offers similar functionality to the strftime function available to C programmers or the SimpleDateFormat class in Java. Complete details are in the readme file.

Whats the date? speaks the full date properly ("Tuesday the ninth of May, two-thousand"), whereas the script included with Speakable Items just says "Tuesday May nine".

Whats the date? is a better version of the "What date is it?" script included with Speakable Items.

NUTD Template Generator creates events in Now Up-To-Date according to the template you define. For instance, if you want to create a day full of 15 minute appointments called "New Patient" and repeat that every Monday for the rest of the year, this script will generate it for you.

Every appointment will be a "real" appointment, not just a repeat from months ago. The script is heavily commented.

Date Stamp (Entourage) is an Entourage AppleScript which enables the user to type a Date - Time stamp if the focus and insertion point in Entourage is editable text.
If you have Akua Sweets scripting addition installed, the format for both date and time will be precisely as you have them set in the Date & Time Control Panel (but without seconds): for example 2000-10-05 - 15:35, or 10/05/00 - 3:35 PM, or however you may have it set.
Otherwise it will be in the month/day/year order you have set with / slash as date separators and 12 or 24-hr clock version as set by your computer, for example: 5/10/00 3:35 pm. There will be no leading zeros for day or month, if you have m/d/yy format, but with leading zeros if you have d/m/yy or yyyy/mm/dd format.
Enhancements:
- Fixes a bug which could error the script with Akua Sweets not installed.

Modify Date Received is an Entourage AppleScript that will enable you to change the Date Received of an incoming message. So much for the legality of email, eh?

Just select the mail, run the script, insert the new date and thats it.

Dates to iCal is a free birthdays calendar for Mac OS X 10.4 iCal. Dates to iCal automatically syncs your Address Book birthdays, anniversaries and custom dates to iCal, creating alarmed, editable events in a separate calendar.
