PPPremier Timer allows you to control your PPP connection and track the amount of time you spend connected to the internet.

You can also specify to have customized sounds play when the connection is opened or closed.

eggTime is a little countdown timer. It will ask after how many minutes itshould warn you and puts a display file on your desktop; the display filename shows you the time left. When the alarm goes off, eggTime can notifyyou.

Talk Timer is a simple application in Squeak for use at conferences to help speakers keep track of how much time they have left.
The timer counts down the number of minutes reserved for the talk and turns red when only 5 minutes are left, when times up it also flashes.
I originally quickly hacked this together at the Camp Smalltalk event at the ESUG 2005 conference, where we installed it on a computer next to the speakers.

Backup timer is an AppleScript that simpley backs up a folder daily.

This script is a timed applescript that stays open where it checks the time once an hour and when it corresponds to the hour designated in the script, executes a duplicate command where a folder of files to be backed up is copied to a folder named for that day.

The folder is backed up daily (from Monday to Friday). The script runs within a time range, gives a voice warning, mounts a volume, duplicates a specified folder to a folder that matches the day of the week with a timeout command, ejects the volume and quits.

The script should be saved as an application and should always be running.

Kitchen Timer is a simple alarm timer applet written in AppleScript which notifies you with a dialog and a sound when the specified number of minutes has passed.

Launch it and enter how many minutes for alarm, then press "GO" button. You can use decimal fractional value. (0.5 for 30 seconds).

Completly freeware.

TunesTimer is a small application that uses iTunes as a timer. The package includes the script for customization.

This application doesnt need to have the timer set through the script and resaved.

Digital Timer is a digital LCD-type display timer that counts down from 1 min. to 120 min.

Completly freeware for non-commercial use.
