SafEEditor 1.0.3
SafEEditor - Text editor for editing perl and other CGI scripts more>>
We originally developed SafEEditor for those of our web hosting customers who were constantly trashing their cgi scripts with Windows Notepad. SafEEditor saves files in plain text only with Unix line termination, keeping them safe for use with various interpreters and compilers that are prone to complaining and halting when they encounter other types of line termination or styled text in scripts or other source code.
SafEEditor is a free, barebones plain text editor for editing perl and other CGI scripts.
In addition to Unix line termination, UTF-8 character encoding is the default character encoding method used by SafEEditor, making it possible for non-ASCII compatible text to be safely contained within an ASCII compatible format.

MacEntur 4.0r2
MacEntur - Process news wire messages and journalist texts more>>
The MacEntur system has established as a standard product for processing news wire messages and journalist texts in the news industry. Many important newspaper publishers as well as small editorial offices rely on this product in their daily business. The official Swiss news agency SDA has tested MacEntur and recommends the system to its customers.
MacEntur receives text data from various sources, performs any data preparation and provides the processed data on a server for further data processing.
Possible data sources may be satellite receivers getting news wire messages, modems receiving text from external working journalists or simply imported data files. MacEntur puts those texts to a data base developed by e-nvention ag. This data base is specifically optimized for text data and it allows to fetch the stored texts from any workstation within the whole network.
Editors can search the texts available in the MacEntur system for various search criterions by using existing serach templates and self-definable macros. Full text search is also provided. The search result is automatically presented to the MacEntur user in a displayed list. Those lists are automatically updated whenever new texts are available to the MacEntur system which fulfill the specified search criterions. Messages which have already been edited by MacEntur users are presented to the other MacEntur users by the editors personal stamp mark.
Enhancements:
- Printing does not cut right text margin anymore.
- Automatic Saving can be applied for selected news as well.

Steal a Sig 3.0
Steal a Sig - The ultimate signature utility more>>
Steal a Sig is the ultimate signature utility. Creates sigs, imports them, exports them, does a whole lot more.
Steal a Sig is an AppleScript for Microsoft Entourage that will allow the quick and easy creation of signatures to be added to your Signatures file.
It will take text from various sources, and compile it into a form understood by Entourage and will insert it into the signatures file.
If you select text from within a message, it will use that selection.
If no text is selected, but there is text on the clipboard, it will use the clipboard text.
If no text is selected and there is no text on the clipboard, it will present you with an empty dialog box so you can compose your own signature line.
In addition, various commands can be carried out by the script. All these commands are triggered by selecting a single word before running the script. type the command word in a new Entourage message window, select it and run the script. Commands available are:
Separator - This will allow you to define the separator to use when creating all future signatures. The default is "-- " (dash, dash, space)
Random - This defines whether all future sigs will be included in the Random sigs list. Options are yes, No, and Ask each time.
Default - Allows you to define some default text that will be added to each created signature. You can declare whether you want this default text (your name, for instance) to appear above or below the signature.
Export - Exports all your signatures to a text file.
Import - Imports signatures from a text file in the format created by export.
Clear - Will delete ALL your current signatures. Make sure youve exported them before running this command!
Help - Displays a message window with a description of these commands in the body.

AquaPath 1.1
AquaPath - Evaluate XPath expressions against XML documents more>>
AquaPath is a free Cocoa-based developer tool for Mac OS X Tiger that allows you evaluate XPath expressions against any XML document and view the result sequence in a dynamic, intuitive tree representation.
Using AquaPath is simple! Open an existing XML document (of any type) or even author an XML document using AquaPath itself (AquaPath is also a rudimentary text editor). The source text of your XML document appears under the "Source" tab in an AquaPath document window... use this tab to author or edit your document.
Next, type an XPath expression into the "XPath" textfield at the top of the AquaPath document window. Click "Evaluate" to see the matching node sequence. You will see a status bar message just below the XPath text field showing either the number of nodes in the result sequence or and error message if your XML document is not well-formed or if your XPath expression is invalid.
Under the "Results" tab, you will find a text area containing the string value of the result sequence. The whitespace of each node has been compressed so that you will see a single nodes string value per line. This tabs contents are convenient for copy-pasting the results to another text editor or wherever.
The "Display" tab is where all the magic happens. Here you will see a dynamic (DHTML), syntax-colored representation of your XML document with "-" or "+" signs next to each element node. Use these symbols for collapsing and expanding a given element and its children.
Also, all nodes and text matching your XPath expression will be highlighted in yellow.
Enhancements:
- AquaPath now allows you to specify the context node for your XPath expression (previously, the document node was always the context node). The context node will be highlighted with a solid black border.
- Line numbers in the source editor.
- AquaPath is now a Universal Binary.
