EvoJava is an program for interactively exploring intriguing concepts in computer science. From cellular automata and rule-based systems to fractals and genetic algorithms, EvoJava is an education tool for anyone interested in the "edges" of science. Or, if nothing else, it makes lots of pretty pictures!

I have developed and tested EvoJava using Gentoo Linux on Opteron and Pentium systems; Ive also tested with Microsoft Internet Explorer and Firefox for Windows XP SP2 (where I have Suns Java installed.)

This is a preliminary beta version of EvoJava. It contains only four "universe" types, and lacks significant documentation. Im releasing this code "as is", hoping users will help me improve the final program. Keep an eye on these pages for updates. I make no promises about schedules or about what the final program will include; all I can say is that EvoJava is moving along nicely. The final release will include full, documented source code, released under the GPL.

Widgzee is a widget clone of the classic dice game Yahtzee. You get three rolls and thirteen rounds to score poker-like combinations for the highest score possible.

Widgzee remembers your high scores which are categorized by the number of Yahtzees you obtained during the game.

Please contact me with any feature requests or problems found. An idea I’m considering, if there is enough interest, is a worldwide high score system.

SnagWindow is an AppleScript that automates the "Screen Capture" window command in Mac OS.
The user can select how many window captures to make, and at what intervals.
Some recommended usage: Capturing any window that updates frequently. Streaming Video! WebCams! Works with any Browser or Java Window. Also works great with Apples Applet Runner.
Enhancements:
- fixed a bug that would cause the application to quit if the return or enter keys were pressed when acknowledging a dialog box.

Renumber Scans corrects the order of double sided scanned pages that were scanned by a scanner that can only scan one side at a time.

Can your document feeder only scan one side of the page at a time? Tired of manually feeding in double sided pages so that they will be scanned in the correct order?

Renumber Scans is an AppleScript that lets you scan all of side 1 of the pages with the document scanner, then scan all of side 2, then renames the scanned files to put the pages in the correct order.

Emacs on Aqua is GNU Emacs ported to Mac OS X Cocoa, based on the earlier Rhapsody, OpenStep and NeXTstep versions.
This port offers superior platform support for the Aqua interface, including full desktop integration (dock, drag-and-drop, etc.), standard keybindings, use of standard Font, Color and File open/save panels, and support for Services. It also runs on other UNIX systems via GNUstep.
The port is based on GNU Emacs 20.7, which is one behind the latest major version. Emacs 21 added mostly UI enhancements, though some Lisp packages depend on 21-specific features. In many cases slightly older versions of these packages will work with Emacs-on-Aqua.
There are plans to update this port to version 21/22 once the GNU Emacs CVS codebase stabilizes.
Enhancements:

- Fix bungled hack in ispell bundling.
- Window size now displayed on resizes under OS X.

Tilt the floor to roll a ball through an obstacle course before time runs out. Neverball is part puzzle game, part action game, and entirely a test of skill.
Also found in the package is Neverputt, a hot-seat multiplayer miniature golf game using the physics and graphics of Neverball.
