GIMP 2.6.6
Scriptable image app: create, alter & manipulate photos. more>>
GIMP 2.6.6 brings you a dream tool for photo retouching, image composition, and image authoring. It is a powerful piece of software with capabilities not found in any other free software product. It can be used as a simple paint program, an expert-quality photo-retouching program, an online batch-processing system, a mass production image renderer, or an image-format converter. GIMP is modular, expandable, and extensible. It is designed to be augmented with plug-ins and extensions to do just about anything. The advanced scripting interface allows everything from the simplest task to the most complex image-manipulation procedures to be easily scripted.
Major Features:
- Customizable Interface
- Each task requires a different environment and GIMP allows you to customize the view and behavior the way you like it. Starting from the widget theme, allowing you to change colors, widget spacings and icon sizes to custom tool sets in the toolbox. The interface is modulized into so called docks, allowing you to stack them into tabs or keep them open in their own window. Pressing the tab key will toggle them hidden.
- GIMP features a great fullscreen mode allowing you to not only preview your artwork but also do editing work while using the most of your screen estate.
- Photo Enhancement
- Numerous digital photo imperfections can be easily compensated for using GIMP. Fix perspective distortion caused by lens tilt simply choosing the corrective mode in the transform tools. Eliminate lens' barrel distortion and vignetting with a powerful filter but a simple interface.
- Digital Retouching
- GIMP is ideal for advanced photo retouching techniques. Get rid of unneeded details using the clone tool, or touch up minor details easily with the new healing tool. With the perspective clone tool, it's not difficult to clone objects with perspective in mind just as easily as with the orthogonal clone.
- Hardware Support
- GIMP includes a very unique support for various input devices out of the box. Pressure and tilt sensitive tablets, but also a wide range of USB or MIDI controllers. You can bind often-used actions to device events such as rotating a USB wheel or moving a MIDI controller's slider. Change the size, angle or opacity of a brush while you paint, bind your favorite scripts to buttons. Speed up your workflow!
- File Formats
- The file format support ranges from the common likes of JPEG (JFIF), GIF, PNG, TIFF to special use formats such as the multi-resolution and multi-color-depth Windows icon files. The architecture allows to extend GIMP's format capabilities with a plug-in. You can find some rare format support in the GIMP plugin registry.
Enhancements:
- GIMP 2.6.6 is a bug-fix release in the stable GIMP 2.6 series. This release contains an important fix for compiling GIMP against the recently released GTK+ 2.16.
Requirements:
- GNU/Linux (i386, PPC)
- Microsoft Windows (XP, Vista)
- Mac OS X
- Sun OpenSolaris
- FreeBSD

GLQuakeWorld 1.1b3
GLQuakeWorld - Multi-player, OpenGL enhanced Quake game more>>
Enhancements:
- gl_singlepasssky 1 renders skies in one pass on supported hardware (multitexture)
- (GLQuakeWorld) properly reloads model textures on OSX when switching video modes that require a disconnect

- default m_filter setting is now 0.2 (NOTE: m_filter 0.1 is essentially the same as turning on mouse smoothing in other games)
- changed default palette gamma to 0.8 for more consistent look when compared to software renderer (use -gamma 0.7 in the commandline for the old GLQuake look, or try 0.9 or 1.0 if it still looks washed-out)
- Check for ".txt" or ".text" extensions for drag & drop commandline files (ASCII files created on OSX will now work)
- Support for the "Only Mortal" MacOSX server browser (v2.0 and later) http://homepage.mac.com/only_mortal/ Big thanks to Mike & Billy!
- You can now run a game with commandline parameters via AppleScript (based on requirements for Only Mortal)
- glClearColor is neutral grey, rather than red.
HTMLrendering 2.3.2
HTMLrendering - REALbasic library for HTML page rendering more>>
Facilities have been provided for setting the default page displayed in a windows when no other file has been specified.
The renderer has events, properties and methods, that also allow you to get the url_address, url_title. One of the sample projects uses Dave Grogonos stationary multidoc project, which makes use of the url_title. The LookingForHTMLSource was designed to provide a callback into the HTMLrendering Library. It provides a fullURL string obtained after clicking a link on the page. This URL can be presented to another plugin "URLAccess" that will download the requested URL. That URL is saved as a folderItem of which the absolute path is funneled back into the HTML- library for rendering. The HTMLLookingForImage does something similar when the renderer requires a image. These 2 events are not being called when you would present a folderItem via the Navigation services.
Xine Plugin for NicePlayer 1.2a
Xine Plugin for NicePlayer - Uses Xine to render video more>>
It uses XineLib for video decoding, which is faster than Quicktime.
Enhancements:
- Fixed a crashing issue. Now bundle allows you to relocate it to your local user Library folder instead of the main /Library folder.
Neverball 1.4.0

Also found in the package is Neverputt, a hot-seat multiplayer miniature golf game using the physics and graphics of Neverball.
The current version includes 75 Neverball levels and 62 Neverputt levels. Thanks to Pasi Kallinen for his contribution of 2 new complete putt courses!
Enhancements:
- Fixed font renderer to never exceed maximum texture size.
MolView Lite 2.0
MolView Lite - 3DMF files renderer more>>

cIconButtons 2.1.2
cIconButtons - REALbasic library for visited web page listings more>>
There are the built in navigation buttons (back, home, and forward) and there are custom buttons that you can add via a utility such as ResEdit.
ResEdit templates have been included in the resource fork of this plugin for accessing the necessary resources. Be sure to make a backup of the plugin before doing any editing.
ldglite 1.0.18
ldglite - View & edit Lego brick models stored in LDRAW format more>>
Along the way the L3 parser from L3P and a few nifty features from other DAT file viewers such as L3Lab were added or emulated. Most recently, an LEdit emulation mode was added. This gives you the ability to create and edit models in ldglite in addition to the viewing capabilities.
Another new feature is the ability to function as a cheesy scene modeler for l3p and POV. Several internet sites use ldglite as a scripted offscreen renderer, generating many pictures of ldraw parts for inventory lists and such. Possibly the most important feature of ldglite is that all of the source code is available.
