JAlbum 8.3.5
Create albums with comments in any imaginable language. more>>
Major Features:
- Easy to use. Just drag and drop an image folder onto JAlbum, select an output directory and press "Make album"
- Use any web browser to view the generated albums. No special viewing software needed. Albums can be served from any web server, a local harddisk, CR-ROM etc.
- Album appearance can be highly customized through use of skins (HTML template files, style sheets, customized icons etc). Create your own album look by making your own skin! (Requires HTML skills)
- Can create albums with text and comments in any language. JAlbum itself speaks 24 languages: Dansk, Deutsch, Eesti, English, Espanol, Magyar, Nederlands, Norsk, Polski, Slovenian, Francais, italiano, portugues, suomi, svenska, and many others.
- JAlbum supports deep hierachies of image folders. Each folder is represented by a folder icon in the resulting web. You can easily organize thousands of images.
- Any file type, not just images, can also be added to albums (with icons linking to the resource)
- Easy to use wizard that helps you create an on-line web account for publishing your images (You can also use your existing account).
- Integrated smart FTP client with synchronization ability so you publish the created album on the Internet in a snap.
- EXIF support. Camera make, shutter speed, aperture and other metadata can be extracted from images and used in albums
- Image filters can be plugged in to enhance images during album generation, adding watermarking, logos etc. An open API and source code example are provided so developers easily can add new filters.
- Really advanced album functions can be scripted in a Java-like language called BeanShell. This allows for limitless extensions to JAlbum.
- Its a JavaBean! The inner engine of JAlbum is a JavaBean meaning that you can easily integrate it into existing Java applications. An example could be inside a webserver for automated album generation. Here is an API for the bean.
- It runs in console mode too (shell window). This allows for easy automation repeating album generation tasks through batch files etc.
- News and updates
-
- Added option to control if Jalbum attempts to use hardware accelerated image scaling or not. Hardware accelerated scaling is faster, but may produce lower quality on some graphics cards.
- Jalbums publish window now automatically reconnects if a connection is disconnected.
- Added support for IPTC location and sub location camera metadata fields.
- Bug fixes:
-
- Password protected albums did not always get the padlock indication in the folder tree of Jalbums publish window.
- The blur image tool could cause nullpointer exceptions.
- Password protected albums containing & or in the album name would never show as password protected in Jalbums publish window.
- Foreign characters in EXIF and IPTC string fields would sometimes be misinterpreted. (This mainly affected fields encoded in "ASCII" on Mac computers as these fields would be decoded in the local computers default character set (MacRoman on Macs) instead of using the character set set in Jalbum.)
- Windows, Macintosh OS X, Linux, Solaris, AIX, OS/2, eComStation... (Any platform that supports Java 1.3)
- Universal Binary

Prattle 0.3
Prattle - Control Adium from your mobile phone more>>
To do this, you need to install a plug-in (that comes with Prattle) into Adium. This plug-in starts a Prattle Bluetooth server when Adium starts automatically. Once Adium is running, you connect the Prattle program, on your mobile, to your computer.
Version restrictions:
No incoming file notification.
No file sending capability.
Cannot change your status.
Does not display information on accounts. Thus if a user on your contact list has more than one account, it is near impossible to determine which account on the phone refers to which.
Uninstallation:
There is no uninstaller. However its quite easy to uninstall Prattle. Just remove "~/Library/Application Support/Adium 2.0/Prattle.AdiumPlugin" where "~" is your home directory. Then remove the Prattle program from your phone.
In Prattle 0.2, please remove "BluetoothChat.AdiumPlugin" instead of "Prattle.AdiumPlugin".
Known phone compatibilities:
Known to work on Nokia 7610 and Nokia 6260.
Does not work on Sony Ericsson T610/T616/T618, T628/T630, Z600/Z60 and P800 (No Java Bluetooth API).
Enhancements:
- Important: Please uninstall Prattle 0.2 by removing "~/Library/Application Support/Adium 2.0/BluetoothChat.AdiumPlugin" where "~" is your home directory. Otherwise both Prattle 0.2 and 0.3 will be running, and you might connect the Prattle 0.3 phone client with the Prattle 0.2 server.
- Unicode support (UTF-8 to be exact). Your phone will need to have the appropriate fonts in order to display non-ASCII characters.
- New messages trigger an alert. If other messages are received while the alert is active, there will be no additional notification.
- The other messages are shown in order, as alerts are dismissed.
- This version is compatible with Adium 0.8.
- When searching for "More devices", Prattle now displays an alert. Note that dismissing the alert will stop the search.
- The new version will not find Prattle 0.2s servers. It is still possible to talk to a Prattle 0.2 server using "Reconnect".
- Requires Java MIDP 2.0.

ADSL internet reconnect 1.0
ADSL internet reconnect checks internet connection each 1000 secs and reconnects if necessary more>>
The purpose is to avoid problems I experienced with my ADSL service provider. I got disconnected every couple of hours, and after each drop, for next 5-15 minutes the connection couldnt be established at all.
If automatic redial was applied all the time , the connection never got established. I realized that situation must be IDLE for these 5-15 minutes, in order to make a connection possible again. Same happened with 2 different ADSL modems. You can also simply edit the delay time yourself.

MacIrssi 0.8.6.4
This provides all the features that you know and love from Irssi on Linux (or command line OS X) but with added juice from OS X. more>>
MacIrssi 0.8.6.4 is an amazing application that will suit your needs. It actually provides all the features that you know and love from Irssi on Linux (or command line OS X) but with added juice from OS X. MacIrssi will automatically disconnect and reconnect your active connections when you put your Mac to sleep.
No need to have a perl script to interface with Growl, MacIrssi has a fully featured notification system; including Growl notifications, sounds and dock icon bounces for a variety of events.
Since the release of version 0.8.6 MacIrssi has gained a new, reworked, preferences pane. Giving everyone access to a variety of Irssi options, including creating, modifying and deleting servers and networks; bringing initial server creation out of the realms of the unknown for new users. The new shortcut system allows any non-menu keystroke to be mapped to arbitary IRC commands.
MacIrssi also ties deeply into Irssi's preferences system to ensure that your chosen character set is consistent right from Irssi's network stack through to it being displayed onscreen.
MacIrssi is still Irssi core under the hood, it still reads ~/.irssi/config and read themes from the themes directory, etc. MacIrssi will read any theme you've used on Irssi in the past and give you the look and feel you are used to.
Major Features:
- Offers all the features from Irssi on Linux
- Added functionality from OS X
- Fully featured notification system without the need of a perl script
- Offers a new, reworked, preferences pane.
- Still has Irssi as its core
Requirements:
- G4, G5 or Intel Mac.

OneButton FTP 0.1.1
OneButton FTP - Graphical FTP client with advanced queuing more>>
OneButton FTP will have a strong emphasis on drag and drop usability and file queuing.
There are a lot of nice graphical FTP clients for OS X out there right now, but none seem to have all the features everyone wants. Specifically, many of the current offerings dont offer a lot in the way of an advanced queuing system. Moreover, most of the good clients are not open source or free software.
OneButton FTP plans to change all this by bringing to the table a graphical FTP client for OS X that is Free Software (licensed under the terms of the GNU GPL) and has all of the nice features that users desire.
Enhancements:
- Added Edit feature. Select this from the Listing menu to download a file to a temporary location and open it in the editor you specify in OneButton FTP preferences. Every time you save the file, it will automatically be uploaded back to where you downloaded it from (as long as you keep the application open). If you are disconnected when you save, you will be reconnected.
- Fixed a bug that caused the program to crash when contributing anonymous statistics in Panther. If you disabled the feature because of this issue, please consider re-enabling it. We need to hear from Panther users to know they are out there!
- Added an SSL mode selection menu in new connection and edit bookmark windows. Use this to specify not to use SSL at all, to use explicit SSL (which is the most common), or to use implicit SSL (which is fairly rare).
- Fixed string encoding issue with French and Italian localizations that caused some characters to not be displayed.
- Removed the anonymous checkbox in new connection and edit connection windows. Whether or not a login is anonymous is now determined by whether or not a username is specified.
- Added a German localization.
