NetSplatX is a Web server performance tuning utility.
NetSplatX simulates browser activity by sending HTTP requests to the server being tested and accepts the responses.

Rate-O-Matic is a small AppleScript that enables you to rate the currently playing iTunes track.

Run this script while the song you want to rate is playing, and you will be prompted to enter your rating, zero to five.

This is the first script I have written, and it is fairly rudimentary and far from perfect, but it works quite well.

iTunes lets you rate your songs but it doesn’t make it easy; you need to:

- Switch to iTunes,
- Find the song that’s playing,
- Mess with those little tiny stars...

The hot or not widget pulls pictures from the http://www.hotornot.com/ web site. It allows you to rate these pictures from 1 to 10, and then tells you how other people rated the pictures.

If you flip the widget over, you can specify the age and sex of the people you wish to view. If you’d like to see a larger picture, click the Enlarge button; Safari will open to the hotornot.com web site with a full size picture. Here you can click the “Meet Me” button to attempt a double-match!

Future plans include integrating the “Meet Me” system directly into the widget along with location and keyword searches.
