Sound balance is a quick fix to a lesser known bug in OS X where changing the system volume rapidly using the keyboard controls causes the systems sound balance to shift randomly.
I often spent hours wondering what was wrong with my speakers as one always sounded louder than the other... heres the fix.
An example is when Im listening to a tune and enjoy a part of the song so crank up the volume quickly using the keyboard and then the tune becomes boring so I turn it down quickly using the keyboard. Others disagree but often when I do this the sound balance changes randomly.

In MacOS 9 (and previous classic versions of MacOS) the key combination to create a new folder was Command N, however Apple changed this key combination to Command Shift N and assigned Command N to the action of creating a new finder window.
I and others have never quite become used to this change, which is why I created N Commander. It is a simple application which changes the key combination Command N in Apples Finder so that it will create new folders. This Change remains permanent unless reversed using N Commander.

DJ Status is an attempt at managing the DJs for your Shoutcast radio station. It allows you to show information on the currently-active DJ which could be useful to your visitors.
DJ Status enables you to display the current DJ for your shoutcast radio based on a number of different criteria.
Information such as IM contacts and a link to their song request page can prove invaluable. DJ Status is incredibly easy to use from all angles. It features an easy-to-use administration panel for editing settings and managing DJs.

- Grabs stats from your shoutcast server such as Current title, current song, current # of listeners.
- If a DJ isnt connected, a message is displayed stating so.
- If the server isnt up, it displays a message stating so.
- Checks the server title for the DJs name, and assigns that DJs ID.

DJ Djownload Music Search is a simple widget that will allow you to perform searches for tracks, artists or record labels on the DJ Download music site.
I built it more for my own convenience as I wanted to get information on certain tracks in a mix set that I was listening to without having to load up Safari and then go to the DJ Download site to see if it was available.
When you type a search and press enter, it will automatically open Safari with the search results.

Presenting the Trackitdown search widget. For those of you who havent heard of Trackitdown, they are a music download site that offers legal downloads for specialist dance music to DJs.
I decided to make a search tool, but this one can narrow your search by track, artist or record label. This is due to the difference in the results you get from the search query.
It is now pretty much finished. I decided not to go with a flip for this as it wasnt really needed. All the details I wanted on the widget are available on the front.
