Sudoku (pronounced soo-dough-coo with the emphasis on the first syllable) is a simple number-based puzzle/game played on a 9x9 grid that is divided into 3x3 subgrids. The goal is to enter a number from 1 to 9 in each cell so that each number appears only once in each column and row. In addition, each 3x3 subgrid may only contain one of each number.

How to Play the Game

At the start of a new game, Sudoku fills in a random selection of cells for you - the number of cells depends on the difficulty level you use. Click in any of the empty cells or use the arrow keys to highlight individual cells and press a number from 1 to 9 to fill in the cell. To clear a cell, press 0, Delete, or Backspace. When you have successfully completed all subgrids, the entire puzzle is highlighted until you start a new game.
As you work to complete the puzzle, you can display possible solutions inside each cell by holding the Shift key and pressing each number in turn. Repeat the process to remove individual numbers, or press a number without the Shift key to replace them with the actual number to use.

Marbol is a fast-action puzzle game of skill, where you must place marbles according to color and destroy as many as possible before you are disrupted by random marbles being pushed from the bottom. Match blocks of 3+ of the same color, or blocks of 4+ clear marbles, and they disappear from the board. Remove too many supporting marbles, and your pile will fall to equilibrium again.

This version is a public beta, but the game is freeware and will remain free after the final 1.0 release.

It has been tested on the following configurations successfully: iBook G4/1.33, with Tiger 10.4.0.

Once the pieces are in the correct order, you will see the image as a whole.

JewelToyX is a puzzle game you play against the clock.
It was Easter and the kids were home so I thought Id give my work on my other projects a break and do something else.
I knocked this up for fun and learned some important lessons about using custom subclasses of NSView and internationalization at the same time.
It took me about a week to go from idea to version 1.0.0, including some tricksy debugging and designing all the graphics for the game. Im sure I couldnt have done this as quickly using anything other than Apples Cocoa IDE.
