AlarmBook is an easy-to-use package that allows you to createdate-specific, daily, weekly, periodic, and many other types of alarms.


Tasks that can be delegated to alarms include opening files, launchingapplication, sending emails, among others. This demo version of theapplication is limited to one alarm.

BiggerSQL is a Cocoa Postgresql Data Base Browser. BiggerSQL features flexible input, simplified table browsing, support for PL/pgSQL, online help, saving result sets in a variety of formats and much more. Source is included.

These are simple scripts for Virex 7 (which MUST be installed before you run either of these scripts). They help setup periodic processes to scan your the file system and update the virus definitions.

Periodic commands will not occur when the Mac is asleep. Make sure you leave your computer on at night if you want the maintenance scripts to run. These scripts are donationware.

Loan Table is a small program that will display the amortization table for a loan and also calculate the monthly payment.
This calculator is designed for simple interest loans that are compounded monthly as most morgages use this system. Future releases will include calculators for extra principal payments made to the loan.

CleanSheets is a spreadsheet application that is both extensible and platform-independent.
It features a formula language that closely resembles that of Microsoft Excel, and extensions for aiding end-user programmers in developing correct spreadsheets.
The application is written in Java, and relies on ANTLR for generating the formula compiler and the JFC/Swing JTable component for spreadsheet visualization.
Enhancements:
- This release adds support for cell borders and format, and introduces the powerful new reflective DO function.
- Other new features are the ability to add and remove spreadsheets in a workbook, selection and auto-resizing of rows, and importing of tab-separated strings from the clipboard.
- Several improvements of existing features have also been made, such as in the performance of the spreadsheet table component, loading of language elements, and appearance of dialogs.

RefEls is a Perl script that lets you look up and increase knowledge of the periodic table of elements. For all of the elements on the table the name, symbol, atomic number, and atomic weight have been referenced (the atomic weights for some elements are only those of the most common or well known types of the element, and may not be the only possible atomic weight).

There are two functions in the program. One is used to look up information about elements, and the other is a function like flash cards that allows you to test and improve your knowledge of the elements.

The reference section is used by typing in an attribute of an element, and then getting all of the information referenced about that element. You can type in the name, symbol, atomic number, or atomic weight to get the information about an element.

The flash card section works like normal cardboard flash cards: you are given one quality of an element and you have to give another quality of the same element back. One example would be the computer giving you the name of element and you having to give the atomic number for that element.

UsersUsage is a small AppleScript which displays a system usage summary of users; in days, hours, minutes and login count, since the last monthly periodic maintenance script run.
