People love the album the art feature in iTunes, but it would be cooler if one could also see the music video to the song. Well now you can! (sort of)
YouTube has a stacks and stacks of music videos on their website. iTube is a free and little Dashboard widget that gets the artist and title of the song you are playing in iTunes.
iTube will then perform a search on Youtube and plays the first hit in the widget window. With a little luck, the first hit will match what you are listening to iTunes.

iOpener is a companion program to Apples iCal software application.

It is a lightweight notification system which parses iCals calendar files and displays notifications when an event or to do item has reached its specified date and time.

It takes up a fraction of the system resources of iCal.

Auto Sort Emails is an AppleScript droplet that will parse domain names from a text file which contains e-mail addresses and then perform various sorting, filing and logging tasks based on what it finds in the list.

pas analyzes password files, sorting and translating various fields of the login to identify system administrators, shell type, shadowing method, shadow backups, and login count, as well as parsing the logins, allowing the user to browse through the password file.

It also strips partially shadowed password files of shadowed logins, preparing it for use with a password cracker.

PDF2IDCS is a drag-and-drop to create an InDesign document from a Multipage PDF file. It will allow you to fit the PDF pages to a specified document size or fit the document to the PDF file size, and scale on-the-fly with a proportional fit. The result is an InDesign document with the PDF pages in sequence.
The placed PDF pages are neatly centered in frames the same size as the document, based on your scaling specs. The original PDF is untouched, only linked. You can then append the pages and print or export to a new PDF file from InDesign.
Simply drag the PDF file on the PDF2IDCS icon and kick back. Itll automatically execute in BackgroundMode. So you can initiate it and walk away or slam through the setup dialogs and go about your business, while it works behind the scene using InDesign as an invisible engine.
If you want you can select WatchTheShow mode to investigate the pages as they layout. Either way, when its done itll activate InDesign with the front page up. The InDesign document will be written to the same folder as the PDF with the same name as the PDF plus the InDesign ".indd" extension. Thats all there is to it!
Enhancements:
- New parse engine that should work with any PDF file.
- The PDF size is now determined by the PDF size data. Previous versions used the media size of the PDF.
- The first page of the PDF is used for document size calculations unless you choose to set the document size yourself.
- The final dialog will indicate Elapsed Time for the job.
- The Elapsed Time will depend on the complexity of the PDF data and of course the number of pages.

Get File Name and Container are two simple AppleScripts that enable you to parse the file name and containing folder from its path. These one-lined snippets can easily implemented into your own code!

The Seths CSV Parser contains a pair of classes that will enable you ro parse a CSV file in REALbasic.

Configfileparser is an AppleScript that reads and analyzes a specific formattet UNIX-style configuration file and returns the data found as an ordered list or a record containing properties.

This is useful for writing own scripts with user configurable preferences.
