The intended use is to backup waypoints from the GPS to your computer. Downloaded waypoints may be saved in a native file format or exported to a variety of other formats such as tab-delimited, comma-separated.

The program also supports upload of waypoints to the GPS receiver, although for this beta version, only one waypoint may be uploaded at a time.

This is beta level software and has not been extensively tested. We need your help testing this program with GPS receivers!

Irssix is a fast, snappy, and free IRC client for Mac OS X. It offers easy keyboard navigation, tabbed chatting, color, regular expression searching (line limiting), and an intuitive interface.

This beta version does not have all GUI dialog boxes implemented yet, so it may be difficult for the user who has never used IRC before. Irssix is based on the code from the fabulous unix IRC client Irssi.

When text is reflowed in a document in Adobe InDesign, (for example, by adding text to a story or placing a frame with text wrap over a story), the text may be slow to recompose if the story contains a large amount of text. The Long Document Performance update resolves this issue.

MetEngVerter Metric/English Measurement Converter by Capaho Web provides reasonably accurate conversions between selected metric and English measurements for household and other general use.

MetEngVerter may be freely distributed in its original, unaltered state. It is provided free of charge as-is without any warranty or support of any kind. It may not be offered for sale or re-sale nor bundled with other software that is offered for sale. MetEngVerter is not intended for use in situations where precision calculations are required. Use at your own risk.

Fools Lexicon is a simple client for the EDICT Japanese dictionary and the CEDICT Chinese dictionaries created by Jim Breen and Paul Denisowski, respectively.
These dictionaries may be freely downloaded and used on a variety of platforms.

The EDICT and CEDICT files from April, 2001 are included in the download of this application. These are not owned, created, or expanded by The Fools Workshop. They are distributed according to their own licenses which I recommend all users inspect.

Forex Charts Widget displays charts for several currency pairs.
With six chart periods, four chart types and an optional indicator. Flat periods may be removed from the charts by selecting a check box.
Enhancements:
- Improved flip animation of resized chart.

Kiosk Tools are some simple tools and information which may be useful to anyone running a Macintosh based kiosk or computer lab.

One application disables the use of the shift key at startup (thus preventing the disabling of extensions). The other removes the users ability to drop into the debugger with Command-Escape.
