photo Drop 1.01
photo Drop - Create droplets to batch process images more>>
photo Drop is a nice utility that creates customized, drag-and-drop droplets that turn the tedious task of modifying multiple images (and folders of images) into a simple drag-and-drop operation.
Using photo Drop, a droplet can be created in just seconds that can resize an image to new dimensions, convert the original image to a new format, rotate the image, modify the compression, and more.
Main features:
- Flip Image Horizontally/Vertically
- Feeling creative? Perhaps looking for that mirror image look? Whatever your reason, photo Drop makes it a snap to flip your image either horizontally or vertically.
- Pad Image to Dimensions
- Need to make your image bigger? Use this option to enlarge the images canvas, keeping the original photo centered.
- Resample Image to Max Dimension
- Perhaps the most useful feature of photo Drop is its ability to resample images to a maximum dimension. Want to make sure none of your images are larger than 300 pixels wide or high? Set this option and your built droplet will intelligently resample the image to make sure that no side is larger than 300 pixels!
- Resample Image Dimensions
- Use this option to make sure all your images are of the same proportion. photo Drops built droplet will intelligently enlarge or reduce the size of the image to fit your needs.
- Crop Image to Dimensions
- Center-crop images to your exact dimensions.
- Rotate Image
- Its happened before. Youve taken images with your digital camera only to discover that the orientation of the image is 90 degrees off. By setting this attribute in photo Drop, your droplet will automatically and painlessly correct the problem for you.
- Convert your Images
- With photo Drop, you can convert your original image to any number of formats, all by simply building a droplet and dragging your images over it. Supported formats include bmp, gif, jpeg, jpeg2000, pict, png, photoshop, qtif, and tiff. While youre at it, you can also downsample the image to a lower quality if space is at a premium!
- Artist, Copyright, and Description Attributes
- Painlessly add meta-data to your images by simply filling in the blanks.
Enhancements:
- Added a warning about the destructive nature of droplets
- Added ability to use Best compression when modifying the quality of images
- Added built in version checking to check for the latest versions
- No longer scales photos upwards when the value for Resample to Max Dimension is larger than either the images width or height
- Images retain the original created date
- Italian localization kindly provided by Lorenzo Maria dellUva.

PageThing 2.1.1
PageThing automates the creation of webpages more>>
PageThing is an application which automates a tedious part of web-design: the creation of webpages to show a series of images, with navigational links between those pages.
Say you had 20 images, and wanted to make a page for each image - like a gallery. Youd normally make one page, insert the image and links, then copy it 19 times. Then youd have to alter every single one of those pages, updating the links and changing the image as appropriate. How annoying, boring and time-consuming!
Thats where PageThing comes in. You can just choose the basic formatting of your pages, choose a few options, and your pages will be created automatically!
PageThing will even take care of making sure all your navigational links are in place
Enhancements:
- Full compiled application; no more reliance on AppleScript
- Much faster generation of pages: up to 14 pages per second, depending on chosen settings
- Progress dialog to show you how many pages have been made, and how many will be made in total
- Ability to choose colors with the Mac OS color-pickers
- One-click "snap to web-safe" feature for all web colors
- You can still enter color values from the keyboard if you choose, and be warned immediately if the color isnt web-safe
- Online help for every control in every dialog
- Online tips and information about how colors are specified on the web
- Ability to choose whether to use text or images for First, Last, Previous and Next links
- Ability to add numerical links on each page, linking to all other pages
- Relative text sizes
- Choice of which application the pages will belong to (i.e. which app theyll open in when double-clicked).

2xsai 0.50x
2xsai - one-pass engine which scales bitmap images more>>
Images rendered by most emulators are lo-res, and when put on a hi-res monitor, the image is either really small, or really blocky when stretched. Todays computers are fast, so why not use some of that horsepower to make a beautiful, big, scaled image from the small one???
2xSaI tries to do just that. I wasnt quite satisfied with Eagle (another good engine with similar goals), so I started with my own engine, 2xSaI.
2xSaI is a one-pass engine which scales bitmap images by a factor of 2, while trying to keep the orginal smoothness and brightness of the original bitmap (in other words: reducing blockiness and bluriness to a minimum). 2xSaI borrows some ideas from Dirk Stevens Eagle Engine, but is (fundamentally) a lot different. It was originally created for (and is currently used in the dos port of) my favorite emulator, Snes9x.
2xsai only processes 16-bit images at the moment but that will probably change in the future.
Enhancements:
- Updated MMX version to 0.50.

Just drop files and/or folders onto the Tiffix target field, dock icon or application icon, and any tiff image files dropped or that exist in any nested folders of folders dropped will be treated with the tiffutil -cat terminal command.
Are you tired of seeing that "extra samples" warning message in your console or project build window? Tiffix is an easy way to get rid of that.
If you so choose, files of type "TIFF" files will be included in the operation whether or not their names include a name extension. That will result in their resource forks being removed and the ".tif" name extension being added.
