Apache Cocoon 2.0.4
XML publishing framework. more>>
Cocoon interacts with most data sources, including filesystems, RDBMS, LDAP, native XML databases, and network-based data sources. Outlook Express 5.0.6
Feature-rich email client. more>>
Outlook Express Internet email product is built on open Internet standards such as POP3, SMTP, IMAP4, LDAP, MIME, HTML, and NNTP, Outlook Express offers a rich feature set that is easy to use. An intuitive user interface and support for multiple user accounts help users not only get up and running quickly but also manage their email easily.
Users can enjoy other features including preview of incoming messages and saving of message drafts, integration of mail and newsgroups, unread message count, new message notification, and customizable toolbar. IMAP4 support allows users to maintain mail on a server from different locations and desktops.
An easy way to import contact info from Outlook Express into Jaguars Address Book? Apple provided an easy way, though its not easy to find unless youre looking for it. Go to Library/Scripts/Mail Scripts/Helper Scripts and you will find a script called "Outlook Express".
HTMLize AddressBook 1.1.1
HTMLize AddressBook - Convert your Apple Address Book entries to HTML more>>
Main features:
- Non-interactive operation: Once youre comfortable with the script, you can turn the interactive option off by changing the setting in the applescript (at the top, after the comments). This is useful if you want to run the applescript periodically, automatically.
- Exporting to LDAP: This script can be used for serving addressbook data over LDAP too. Check out the README.ldap in this package. Note that this is a highly advanced feature, and probably doesnt work at all
- Exporting a subset: Another useful setting in the applescript that you can change is "generate_groups". If you specify a list of groups there (see the applescript for example), only that list of groups is exported to HTML. This way you can share a subset of your Address Book, with friends or family, say.
- Each time you change this list, however, I strongly recommend removing the website/timestamp file. This will make sure your website is populated with all, and only those, records that are required.
Enhancements:
- Version 1.1.1 adds Disk image download and new icon!

OWA GAL Search 1.3
OWA GAL Search is an add on application for Microsoft Entourage. When Entourage is configured to connect to an Exchange account, it uses LDAP to talk to the directory server more>>
OWA GAL Search 1.3 has come as a handy add-on application which is aimed at Microsoft Entourage. When Entourage is configured to connect to an Exchange account, it uses LDAP to talk to the directory server. Generally if you are outside the office network, you can not connect to the Global Address List without first making a VPN connection into the network.
OWA GAL Search allows Entourage to search the Global Address List using the Outlook Web Access. As long as you have Entourage configured correctly, and can connect to your email account using the web, Entourage can lookup email address for you.
CarrelPatch 1.0.1
CarrelPatch - Script to disable DHCP/LDAP vulnerability more>>
Apple has released information on a workaround at:
http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=32478
This procedure does disable the vulnerabilitys access point. However, some folks may not be comfortable changing Directory Access settings, or may not want to walk remote users through it.
So, this script does that via UI scripting. Because it has to use UI scripting, it only works on Panther, (thats the only OS release that I can count on having UI scripting installed on.)
You also MUST be able to authenticate as an administrator on any mac you run this on.
So, lets review...to use this script, you MUST:
1) Be running some version of Panther
2) Be an administrator on the machine you run the script on.
Enhancements:
- creeted already good flag so that you dont get erroneous messages if youre ahead of the game. Thanks to Todd McDaniel for spotting this.

PHP is a server-side, cross-platform scripting language.
PHP is a widely-used general-purpose scripting language that is especially suited for Web development and can be embedded into HTML.

XML-DOM
PEAR
CLI Version.
