Pro Tools Free Setup Scripts (in application form) are designed to setup your (classic) mac to use Pro Tools Free 5 from Digidesign.

Type Fixer was originally written for Mac OS X, where sometimes plain text files without creator and type codes (such as those produced by TextEdit) are changed to SimpleText files, meaning that Classic will start up if you double click on the file.

The creator and type codes for any file ending with ".txt" will be changed to the unknown code "????". This changes the owner application back to TextEdit. Open the droplet in the AppleScript Script Editor, change the codes and filter criterion as indicated in the script to suit your own needs, and resave it as either a Classic Applet for Mac OS 9 or earlier, or a Mac OS X Applet for Mac OS X.

The Bartender script is a Bartending Program. It simulates a real bartender on an IRC network, and works under Mac OS 9.1 and Mac OS X running classic. There is an installer included for use under Mac OS 9.1 only.

This is a keyboard layout for international users who are accustomed to using Microsoft Windows with US keyboards.

It duplicates exactly the behavior of Windows "U.S. - International" keyboard layout to produce accented characters, while maintaining the Macs option-key method wherever possible.

Now heres a Mac version of the "U.S. - International" keyboard. It duplicates as closely as possible the Windows key sequences, while keeping most of the option-key sequences intact.

PNG Utilities gives you an open source plugin for REALbasic that will allow developers to easily load and save PNG images with or without transparency information.

Methods are also provided to deal with strings of binary PNG data, which is ideal when storing or retrieving images from databases, virtual volumes, or custom packages such as zip archives.

Play Sound provides a simple, no-fuss way to play sound files in classic Mac OS and Mac OS X. It supports QuickTime sound files (for example, AIFF or MP3 files), Mac OS System 7 sound files (files with a file type of sfil that contain snd resources), or any snd resources embedded into any file.
You can play an unlimited number sounds concurrently or one at a time. You can loop sounds, repeat sounds, control the volume of sounds played, and press the Escape or Command-Period keys to abort sound play.
To use Play Sound as a simple sound file player, simply drag and drop the sound file(s) onto the Play Sound icon in the Mac OS Finder. Better yet, configure the Finder to open sound files with Play Sound when you double-click them (see the Play Sound documentation for easy instructions showing how to do this).
Play Sound is also fully scriptable, allowing AppleScript writers to use simple, easy-to-understand English syntax to play most QuickTime-supported sound files, Mac OS System 7 sound files, and snd resources that are embedded in script applets. To script Play Sound, you call it from an AppleScript script or application.
