Tanooshka.com Russian Language Learning is a Java application that helps you learn Russian using the Leitner system.
Memorizing words and phrases will not only be more efficient, but the system is a joy to use. Each card also has the phrase spoken by a native russian speaker, to help with pronunciation. The Leitner system is a way of progressively learning words by placing them in stacks. The words you know are placed in stacks seperate from the words that are still troubling you, for more efficient learning. And there is one other thing about Tanooshka.com language learning. Each set of cards, are the words to a movie, so when youve learned the set of words, you can watch the movie, and understand it! In Russian!

GameKit is a library designed to make it easier to write games for the PlayStation Portable. The PSPSDK is a wonderful thing for which its creators deserve much respect, but it is sorely lacking in high-level functionality. Some developers find joy in that. Some developers are masochists. For the rest of us, GameKit fills in the blanks to make PSP programming easier and more fun.
At the moment, GameKit has four modules: Audio, Graphics, Log, and Modes. They are each described below with links to their respective reference material.
Audio provides multichannel audio capabilities with hardware mixing (and software mixing if the hardware runs out of channels).
Graphics makes it a snap to load and draw images or use them as textures. It also has basic text drawing features with bitmap fonts. Naturally, it has a function to perform smooth screen fades.
Log enables you to write debugging information to files. You think this is boring, but youll change your mind the instant your program doesnt work. And its better than pspdebug because you can turn the whole thing off with one #define.

Lumen is a very interesting and beautiful puzzle game for OS X and Windows.
The objective is to light up checkpoints by bouncing, coloring, and maneuvering a laser beam through obstacles.
Although puzzles may seem easy at first sight, the can be quite a challenge. The careful attention to detail and the colorful graphics make Lumen a joy to play.
To play Lumen you must first load a puzzle by clicking on the "Load Puzzle" button at the top of the window.
Lumen comes with a folder of multiple puzzles to play, with more on the way. Once a puzzle has been loaded, use the pieces to the left to "active" all the checkpoints on the board by directing a laser of the same color through it.
First, pick a laser emitter and drag it onto the grid. Laser emitters can only be placed on the outside edge of the board, and only one emitter can be placed at a time. Once the laser has been placed, use mirrors to bounce that beam to the checkpoints. Click on a mirror to rotate it.
Next place filters on the grid to combine colors and activate differently colored checkpoints. An RGB color key is provided below :
Blue + Green = Turquoise
Green + Red = Yellow
Red + Blue = Violet
Blue + Green + Red = White
Enhancements:
- Slight bug fixes
- New file format. Now includes solution

GUidMachine is the tool you need if you want to mix asynchronous streams of sound flowing in the same instance.
Main features:
- The Guidmachine is Step Sequencer combined with a sample player. The Step sequencer has 4 X 16 steps while the sample player can load 4 samples simultanuously. Nothing new so far, but what makes the GUIdMachine special are a few unique features. First of all you can easily shift any of the sequences up and down by any number of steps and you can decide the length of each raw. But even this is not news. Whats special about it is that you can randomize this modifications and so the pattern will never be constant if you want.
- The velocities can be randomized too so the accents will also change during time and make the loops more interesting.
- But the most unique feature is that the 4 sequences can play at 4 different BPMs!
- The Sample Player section is a fairly straight forward 4 voices sample player with a good envelope section and the possiblitly to change the pitch , the length, the start point all on the fly.
