ed2k Link Creator is a small AppleScript that creates eDonkey2000 addresses taken from the names of the files and folders droped on the script.

The address is written in the following format: ed2k://|file|filename|size|MD4|

If you tranfered files from a PC to a Mac, the file type and creator might have been lost.

Super-AutoTyper is an AppleScript droplet that will restore the file type and creator based on the files extension.

If the extension is shared by more than one application, the droplet shows an option list from which you can choose the application for all the files with that extension dropped into it. You can also use it as a file creator changer (for the multiple option extensions).

All files on the Mac have a creator code which determines which application should open the file when it is double-clicked.
Set Creator Code of Selection will let you set the creator code of any selected files in the Finder.

The script will display the filename and file and creator codes for each selected file and give you and option to either change the creator or skip it.
