Thirteen AppleScript games (yes, games made with AppleScript!) are included in this archive: Blackjack, Echo, War, Guess the Number, Rock-Paper-AppleScript, Tic-Tac-Toe, Hangman, Scrambler, Matcher, Pico-Fermi-Bagels, Poker, Crazy Eights, and Eight Ball. Most of these games are single player, while some are no-player (Mac plays only) and some are two-player. Games are available as both Classic and OS X versions as separate downloads. Sudoku (pronounced soo-dough-coo with the emphasis on the first syllable) is a simple number-based puzzle/game played on a 9x9 grid that is divided into 3x3 subgrids. The goal is to enter a number from 1 to 9 in each cell so that each number appears only once in each column and row. In addition, each 3x3 subgrid may only contain one of each number.

How to Play the Game

At the start of a new game, Sudoku fills in a random selection of cells for you - the number of cells depends on the difficulty level you use. Click in any of the empty cells or use the arrow keys to highlight individual cells and press a number from 1 to 9 to fill in the cell. To clear a cell, press 0, Delete, or Backspace. When you have successfully completed all subgrids, the entire puzzle is highlighted until you start a new game.
As you work to complete the puzzle, you can display possible solutions inside each cell by holding the Shift key and pressing each number in turn. Repeat the process to remove individual numbers, or press a number without the Shift key to replace them with the actual number to use.

In fact, the programming team at ATF has decided that its time for "interactive fiction" to get a much-needed shot in the arm. Games today are too full of imagery, animation, and action. All of this really draws away from the most important aspects of a game: the plot and the challenge. In order to effect change, weve written a game engine for text-based games.

Whats a game engine, you ask? Well its interpreter for a game: A game developer writes a game with certain rules and behaviors, and the game engine decodes that game and presents it to you, the player! No more pictures, no more motion; just you, your keyboard, and the game.

Samus game is A small game where you are Samus or anti-Samus and try and shoot the other.

It is still somewhat buggy so yeah. This is also a really old game I made a long time ago so do not expect me to do any updates. Samus is trademarked by Nintendo.

My famous (well famous to me at anyrate) number game is back in a full fledge Mac OS X aqua GUI!

Basicly when I was first learning to program, I made a number guessing game that as my skill increased, so did the complexity of the pogram did. GUI based compared to text based, options, ect.

Memory is a simple matching game the asks players to turn over cards until they find a match.

In the current implementation, only letters are displayed (and colored if more than 52 cards are needed) for players to match against.
