Framed is a quick and easy tool to create animations from a series of still pictures.
You can use Framed to assemble stop-motion animations or create an impressive cinematic sequence by rapidly flipping through numerous images.

SingleFramer is a frame-capture application developed in MAX/MSP/JITTER for students at the Cooper Union art school in NYC, USA.

It allows you to capture individual frames from a DV camera, either manually or automatically (time-lapse). You can use "onion-skinning" to see an overlay of your previous frame as you compose your shot. You can load an existing movie so you can match your setup from a previous day. (Useful if you need to break down borrowed equipment between shoots).

Frame Image is an AppleScript for PhotoFlash that will create a frame around the frontmost image. You can indicate the thickness and the script uses either black or the current background color for the frame.

Completly freeware.

MovieScript asks you to choose the frame rate, the codec for compressing the data. The script also asks for a folder to watch where image files arrive, a folder to temporarily move the files to and the name of the movie you want to create.

If no new image files arrive in the folder for five minutes the script processes the last image file and then creates the movie, and moves all the files back to the original folder.

Completly freeware.

ImageNameTag creates Text frame with image name or full path or both. This new version work with IDCS and IDCS2. Please make sure you read the included read-me doc about details of the scripts.
Enhancements:

- Option for name of images or Full Path of images or both
- (if both are selected, full path is on a second line 2pt lower)
- Did not fail anymore with anchored images. They are just ignored.

Beat Direktor is a widget designed for video artists who work with music on a regular basis. You simply enter the BPM (beats per minute, or tempo) of the song you are using, the frame rate at which you are working at, and the beats per measure (generally 4 for pop music). Click the kompute button, and it tells you how many video frames there are per beat of music, measure, and 4 measures. Very handy for synching up animation and music!

Future updates may allow you to specify changes in song pattern for easy keyframing in another app.
