appswitch is a command-line interface to the Mac OS X process manager.

If you use shell scripts to automate Mac OS X applications, you may need to switch between applications.

Drop Script lets you create new applications from any BSD program which takes files as command line arguments. Typically, these are scripts written in sh, perl, etc.

Line End Changer changes Macintosh style line endings (carriage return, ASCII 13) to Unix style line endings (line feed, ASCII 10) in a plain text file.

As written, it is set up to do the conversion for Web Star log files, but can be easily modified to handle any plain text file you want to convert.

Text Manipulator is an application that allows you to easily manipulate text with functions that might normally take several applications.
This saves you time by combining all of the functions you need into one handy application.
Main features:
- Alphabetize Text- This function allows you to alphabetize text that is either formatted in sentence form (delineated by spaces) or in list form, ie one word per line (delineated by returns).
- Find Words Of Length- With this command you can extract words of a certain length from your text.
- Remove Duplicates- This removes duplicate words from a list. This is handy for removing duplicate words from wordlists.
- Prefix/Suffix Lines- This command adds or deletes a suffix/prefix from all the lines in your text. This feature is helpful for html, or programming where you may have a long list of lines that have different bodies, but similar prefixes or suffixes
- Re-Arrange Lines- This will allow you to take text from paragraph form and turn it into a return delineated list, take text from a return delineated list into paragraph form, or arrange words in a random order.
- Convert to Title Case- This will convert the currently selected text to title case, which capitalizes the first letter of every word. Selecting the chubby rabbit ran would be converted to The Chubby Rabbit Ran
- Spelling- This will run spell check on your document or the selection, depending on which option you choose
- Dictionary- This will bring up an internet based dictionary. You must be connected to the internet to use this feature. Enter a word and Text Manipulator will query several online dictionaries and return the definition of the word.
Enhancements:

- Fixed problems with cmd-shift-o,cmd-shift-i, and cmd-shift-c
- Improved speed of internet dictionary
- Select all is now allowed in fields besides text field (ie find box, internet dicitonary etc)

- Total number of lines displayed in info window is now correct all the time.

Remove Line Breaks is a small AppleScript that grabs the text from the clipboard, removes the line breaks and puts the result back into the clipboard.

This is usefull for cleaning up email messages and selections grabbed from web pages.

Make a Color for the Current Box is an AppleScript uses the "choose color" dialog from the Jons Commands osax to let the user interactively create and adjust a color for the selected text box, picture box, or line.
It is a good example of repeating dialogs with checks and sub-routines.

Steal a Sig is the ultimate signature utility. Creates sigs, imports them, exports them, does a whole lot more.

Steal a Sig is an AppleScript for Microsoft Entourage that will allow the quick and easy creation of signatures to be added to your Signatures file.

It will take text from various sources, and compile it into a form understood by Entourage and will insert it into the signatures file.
• If you select text from within a message, it will use that selection.
• If no text is selected, but there is text on the clipboard, it will use the clipboard text.
• If no text is selected and there is no text on the clipboard, it will present you with an empty dialog box so you can compose your own signature line.
In addition, various commands can be carried out by the script. All these commands are triggered by selecting a single word before running the script. type the command word in a new Entourage message window, select it and run the script. Commands available are:
• Separator - This will allow you to define the separator to use when creating all future signatures. The default is "-- " (dash, dash, space)
• Random - This defines whether all future sigs will be included in the Random sigs list. Options are yes, No, and Ask each time.
• Default - Allows you to define some default text that will be added to each created signature. You can declare whether you want this default text (your name, for instance) to appear above or below the signature.
• Export - Exports all your signatures to a text file.
• Import - Imports signatures from a text file in the format created by export.
• Clear - Will delete ALL your current signatures. Make sure youve exported them before running this command!
• Help - Displays a message window with a description of these commands in the body.
