K9 Web Protection is a content filtering solution for your home computer. Its job is to provide you with a family-safe Internet experience, where YOU control the Internet content that enters your home.
K9 Web Protection implements the same enterprise-class Web filtering technology used by Blue Coats Fortune 500 customers around the world, wrapped in simple, friendly, and reliable preference pane for your Mac.
Blue Coats unique Web filtering technology divides Internet content into 60 distinct categories. These categories are stored in the master Blue Coat database, through which we maintain and update more than 15 million ratings of websites and domains.
A Web site will fall into one or more of these categories, based on the content of the site. To meet your particular preferences and needs, you can configure the software to allow or block specific categories.
Known Issues:
1. When browsing a web site that is blocked by K9 Web Protection, selecting the option to Allow This Site or Allow This Category intermittently does not accept the K9 administrator password.
2. K9 error and warning pages that include the option to override the Web filter intermittently do not accept the K9 administrator password. Refreshing the page should clear the problem and allow Internet access again.
NOTE: K9 Web Protection is free for home use.

Main features:
- Block 60 Content Categories: Blue Coats unique Web filtering technology divides Internet content into 60 content categories. These categories are stored in the master Blue Coat database, through which we maintain and update more than eight million ratings of websites and domains. A Web site will fall into one or more of these categories, based on the content of the site. To meet your particular needs and preferences, you can configure the software to block or allow specific categories.
- Time Restrictions: K9 Web Protection enables you to restrict the time of day users can access Web sites. If there are specific times when you do and do not want your family accessing the Web, this feature assists you in enforcing that policy.
- Web Site Exceptions: In addition to the defined and custom protection levels, K9 Web Protection allows you to explicitly block or allow access to specific Web sites. For example, K9 is blocking a site, but you want to allow access to it, but not any others in the category.
- Blocking Effects: K9 Web Protection offers an audible feature in which the application plays a bark when a user attempts to access a blocked site. This feature is useful to alert a parent, teacher, or other care provider that someone under his or her supervision might be stumbling onto offensive or inappropriate content. K9 also enables Time Out Settings. If a user attempts to visit too many blocked sites in a specified period of time, K9 completely blocks access to the Web for a specified time.
- URL Keywords: K9 Web Protection allows you to block access to Web pages based on keywords in the Web page URL. You can, for example, block any Web page that has the word sex in the URL.
- Web Search Options: K9 Web Protection offers the option of enforcing the use of Google SafeSearch, which diminishes the amount of adult material that might be returned as a result of an Internet search. This feature is enabled by default. Currently, K9 Web Protection supports the safe search functionality of the Google Search Engine only.
- View Reports of Internet Activity: K9 Web Protection allows you to view reports of all Internet browsing activity and administrative actions.

SnowSaver is a Cocoa OpenGL screensaver. Its modeled on the pretty falling snowflakes animation that Apple have been running on an iMac in the window of the local Apple store. (Theirs is actually a QuickTime movie, and not available to customers. People have asked.)

Slider is a fun puzzle game where the player tries to clear combinations of colored pearls from the board to earn points. Along the way special pearls give the game a strategic aspect.

The goal of Slider is to combine 3 or more Pearls of the same color in a row or a column of the game board. The combined pearls will then be removed from the board. The pearls above the removed items will fall into the open spaces and new random pearls will fill up the board from the top. The player can make one move per turn, and the move must result in the removal of game pieces from the board. If the move does not result in the removal of pearls, the move will be automatically reversed (moves involving special pearls are an exception to this rule - see below).

To perform a move, the player uses the directional buttons around the game board. The player may move a row one place to the left or the right, and a column one spot up or down. The pearls in a row or column will then all shift one place in the direction of the button pressed. The first pearl in the direction of the move will "wrap around" to the other side of the row or column. For example, when shifting a row to the right, the right-most pearl will disappear and reappear on the left side of the row. Therefore, the "wrapped" pearl may create a combination on the side it reappears.

The player recieves points for the number of game pieces removed from the board. The more pearls are removed from the board with one turn the more points will be given per pearl (for example removing 7 pearls or more at once will yield twice the points per pearl than removing just 3). Additionally, the pearls randomly replacing the removed pearls may also form combinations and will also be removed from the board, thus creating a cascading effect. Cascades will also create additional bonus points.

Counter sets how many songs iTunes will play before your Mac shuts down, restarts, or falls asleep.

Use it in combination with iTunesshut (Sleep with music from your Mac and when all songs in the playlist have played, the Mac shuts down!)

Pause is a small Applescript Studio app to help make your life easier. Have you ever wanted to go to bed and have the computer turn the music off later?
Ever wanted to watch a DVD in bed and know that if you fall asleep the computer will still turn off after the film? Well, Pause will do all that for you.
Pause provides a simple and clear interface with a good variety of options.
IMPORTANT! There is a bug in Apples bindings system (which Pause now uses) that means none of the scripts previously bindled with this app will work. Also, do not attempt to run Pause scripts from the iTunes script menu as the two will just sit there waiting for each other to finish!
Enhancements:
- Resolved bug that occurred when ending the timer on some systems.

Astro is a simple arcade game where you have to dodge asteroids to stay alive.
As the number and speed of the asteroids increases, however, that may not be as easy as it sounds.

Plot (such as it is)
You are an alien UFO pilot, and for some reason unknown to you, your spaceship has been dumped in the middle of an asteroid belt. You must dodge the asteroids in a vain attempt to escape.

Objects
There are three kinds of object in the game. Your spaceship is roundish and red, and begins at the bottom of the screen. Asteroids are greyish and spherical. They fall from the top of the screen. Jewels are small and green. If you pick up a jewel (by running it over) you get an extra life.

Scoring
You get one point each time an asteroid falls off the bottom of the screen (but only if youre alive at the time!)

Controls
From the main menu screen, you can use P or Q to play or quit, respectively. You can also click the buttons. If you get a new highscore, the P and Q shortcuts will be disabled while you type in your name. In the game, use the arrow keys to move your spaceship round the screen. You can press space to pause.
