PhotoInfo 2.0.1 is a full featured and advanced Mac OS X Cocoa application that assiss you in displaying and printing EXIF information from JPEG, TIFF, and RAW digital camera files. File names can be changed and Date-Time tags can be edited. A batch change mode for renaming files and changing Date-Time tags is also provided.

EXIFplot is a command line tool for analysing EXIF tags in digital photos and binning them so that you can see how many photos youve taken in a given time interval. It should compile on any *nix system, but OS X binaries are included for the lazy.

Cornice is a cross-platform image viewer written in Python + wxPython + PIL. It doesnt pretend to be complete, fast, or even useful, but I like it and it is the viewer I use on both Linux and Windows. It has been inspired by the famous Windows-only ACDSee.

DateTree will copy files into a set of folders named by date.
Although the program was written with images in mind, it will handle any file. Selective copying is possible, and several date-based organizations are offered.

DateTree understands the dates which many digital cameras embed into digital photo files.

If the embedded date is not available, or for non-image files, DateTree uses the modification date of the file to determine which date folder it should be placed into.

DateTrees copy is much faster than the processing-intensive import in iPhoto and other image processing programs. Its perfect for those who prefer not to use a complex photo manager, and only lack a tool to organize their images in the file system.

SortImagesGUI is a little Java program helps you sorting your images from digital still image cameras. It reads the EXIF-Header of the JPEG-Files an copies the images from the source dir to a centralized target dir sorted by year, month and day.
The files are renamed to represent their capture date and time. So you will have a Image repository sorted by capture date of the images.
Additionally some of the image meta informations will be stored in a database along with the MD5 hash of the image as primary key. SortImages check each image beforce copying if its already in the database. If not, the image will sorted into the appropriate folder.
Enhancements:
- Ignores the special MacOS Finder meta files which may also have a .jpg ending.
- A database dump is written to the destination directory to make backup easier.

PhotoToolCM is a contextual menu plugin for Mac OS X. It helps you to manage/organize JPEG photo image created by digital cameras. Originally, I was going to add these features and functions to my QuickImageCM. However, I realized that due to some technical reasons, adding these features would increase the object size of QuickImageCM dramatically.
PhotoToolCM ca handle exif info, batch rename photos, batch resize, add borders and much more.
So I decided to make it a separate CM plugin. This CM plugin can be a nice companion of the QuickImageCM and it has supplemental features you dont find in my QuickImage CM Below is the summary of what this CM plugin can do.
All of these features can be used right from the Finder without launching any applications.Displays Exif information (plus general JPEG file information) of a JPEG file quickly on the contextual menu.
Copy Exif information of selected file(s) to the clipboard so that you can paste to other text documents.Batch rename selected file(s) using Exif date (the date pictures were taken).Change file dates (date created and date last modified) of selected file(s) to Exif date (the date pictures were taken).

- Now it displays a warning dialog when the operation overwrite the original file. This warning dialog can be suppressed at the Preference dialog.
- Increased the speed of adding thumbnail icon by attaching 128x128 icon only.
- Now you can choose whether the thumbnail icon has border frame or not.
- Removed a debug routine which has been left over (which display Not JPEG (file name) to the console)
- Changed the order and layout of contextual menu display slightly for easier operation.
- Added a routine to bring the Finder to front so that the dialog that PhotoToolCM opens will be displayed on top of the current applications windows when Finder is not the frontmost process.

JExifViewer is a Java program for displaying and comparing Exif informations stored in JPEG files created by digital cameras. JExifViewer project is an Open Source project released under the GPL.

JExifViewer has an image viewer in which you can rotate and/or flip, zoom in/out the selected image. You can also print an image.

At the moment JExifViewer is localized in English and German. If you want to do some translations please contact me!
