Phone Emulator 1.0

Phone Emulator 1.0

Phone Emulator - Mock up an ACD/CTI application in order to test the customer experience more>>
The Phone Emulator allows you to mock up an ACD/CTI application in order to test the customer experience before committing to the programming effort. It has a simple flow chart interface to help establish the flow of the CTI and ACD application. After you have constructed the flow you can run it and check to see if this is the experience that you want for your customers. Once the flow has been established you can then print out the phone script to be recorded and the major flow steps for the CTI/ACD programmer. It can be used in a team design environment to lock down the customer experience with all team members who have a stake in the customer process.
Main features:
- Flow chart interface
- Ability to test the flow dynamically
- Printing of the phone script and flow steps.

2xsai 0.50x

2xsai 0.50x

2xsai - one-pass engine which scales bitmap images more>>
Images rendered by most emulators are lo-res, and when put on a hi-res monitor, the image is either really small, or really blocky when stretched. Todays computers are fast, so why not use some of that horsepower to make a beautiful, big, scaled image from the small one???
2xSaI tries to do just that. I wasnt quite satisfied with Eagle (another good engine with similar goals), so I started with my own engine, 2xSaI.
2xSaI is a one-pass engine which scales bitmap images by a factor of 2, while trying to keep the orginal smoothness and brightness of the original bitmap (in other words: reducing blockiness and bluriness to a minimum). 2xSaI borrows some ideas from Dirk Stevens Eagle Engine, but is (fundamentally) a lot different. It was originally created for (and is currently used in the dos port of) my favorite emulator, Snes9x.
2xsai only processes 16-bit images at the moment but that will probably change in the future.
Enhancements:
- Updated MMX version to 0.50.

QuickTerm is a basic ASCII terminal emulator. It can use any attached serial port, whether built-in or installed using an adapter such as a Keyspan USB-to-serial adapter.
It allows full setting of serial port parameters, with or without handshaking.
The name QuickTerm alludes to the fact that I developed it quickly, forsaking features I dont need to get a decent serial terminal emulator up and running.

Finders Friend X 1.0

Finders Friend X 1.0

Finders Friend X - Quit or restart Finder to free up some memory more>>
Have you ever had a message appear that says "Not enough memory..." yada yada yada when you dont have any applications launched? Well sometimes when you quit a program for some reason the memory that was previously being used by the program gets locked up. This means that the computer still thinks you have a program using the memory and keeps you from accessing it. Restarting the Finder can cure this problem in seconds. Once you restart the finder it will likely recognize that no programs are using said memory and will free it up.
Ever run processor intensive programs such as emulators (ie. Virtual PC or SNES9X) and games? Well if you dont have a spiffy new imac or a lightening fast blue and white tower and you arent getting the performance that you want from these applications, then quitting the Finder may help improve your speed. When you quit the Finder you will notice that the finder is no longer available in the active application menu in the top right corner of the screen and you cannot simply click the desktop to make it return. I can hear you asking "How do get my Finder back?" Fear not my friend, simply quit all open applications and the Finder will return.
I offer no guarantees with this script to how much performance you will gain. I also take no responsibility for any damage it may cause. I use this script quite frequently on my own mac and have never encountered a single serious problem since its creation.
Enhancements:
- OS X support.
