Flarestorm is a new Playstation emulator for Mac OS X.

Has advanced unbelievably quickly, the quickest seen in any Playstation emulator development.

Emulation is possible emulation the Playstation BIOS (basic input/output system) file which communicates between the operating system and the underlying hardware, and gives basic sets of instructions for the PSX console and must be used by emulators to play PSX games on a Computer unless you reverse engineer the Playstation.

A SNES emulator based on the SNES9X C++ core, and John Stiles port of the same. It is largely the same as Stiles version, but boasts some new features worth checking out.

Zodiac is the only free, open source MSX emulator for Mac OS X. It currently supports both disk images and MSX rom files.

Zodiac uses the SDL library for cross platform compatibility and can be ported to almost any SDL supported platform in existence.

A JAVA-based Sega Mastersystem/Gamegear emulator based on Chris Whites Javagear.

Gcube is a great Nintendo GameCube emulator that can play a few games.

Petit dosbox is a DOSBox Emulator front-end launcher. It is NOT the emulator itslef, although it comes packaged with a binary of DOSBox.
Petit dosbox is designed for Mac OS X systems, features a nice and easy to use interface and has many configuration options, including a Game Manager to let games to be launched straight from the program interface.

X68000 Emulator allows you to emulate old 68000 processor machines.

Have you ever had a message appear that says "Not enough memory..." yada yada yada when you dont have any applications launched? Well sometimes when you quit a program for some reason the memory that was previously being used by the program gets locked up. This means that the computer still thinks you have a program using the memory and keeps you from accessing it. Restarting the Finder can cure this problem in seconds. Once you restart the finder it will likely recognize that no programs are using said memory and will free it up.
Ever run processor intensive programs such as emulators (ie. Virtual PC or SNES9X) and games? Well if you dont have a spiffy new imac or a lightening fast blue and white tower and you arent getting the performance that you want from these applications, then quitting the Finder may help improve your speed. When you quit the Finder you will notice that the finder is no longer available in the active application menu in the top right corner of the screen and you cannot simply click the desktop to make it return. I can hear you asking "How do get my Finder back?" Fear not my friend, simply quit all open applications and the Finder will return.
