- A crash related to playing sounds (which generally manifested itself in the Glitterdelve Mines) has been fixed. IMPORTANT! Due to this change, certain older save game files may no longer load. If you cannot load a particular save game, try loading another from the same general area or start a new game from scratch.
- Random crashes near Hiroth Castle in the French and German builds have been fixed.
- Option+Key commands (particularly Opt+E, Opt+U, Opt+I, and Opt+N) now function better. Labels should no longer toggle on and off when using Option+Key commands.
- Critical Section threading is a bit more robust.
- A memory calculation bug in Macs with greater than 4GB of RAM has been fixed.
- A bug with calculating the true frequency (ie, speed) of the CPU has been fixed.
- GameRanger games now properly respect the player limit setting.
- New games now default to a resolution setting of 800x600.
- Savegame names are now correctly limited to 23 characters (previously save names with more than 23 characters would fail).
- New unsupported feature: Screen resolutions up to 1920x1200 are now allowed. To enable higher screen resolutions, edit the file "/Users/user name/Documents/Dungeon Siege/DungeonSiege.ini" and add the line "allow_unsupported_resolutions = 1". Then, start Dungeon Siege, go to the Options window, and click the Video tab to adjust the game resolution. If the game window becomes off-centered, try selecting the highest or lowest resolution your monitor can display, and then select the desired final resolution. Note that any resolution higher than 1024x768 is not supported.

- Minor bug fix in the shogi ban user interface when the user enters an illegal move with the mouse. Thanks to Oskar Gordon for showing me this bug :-)

CB Shapedraw is a Chipmunk Basic program that parses ESRI shapefiles and draws their contents to the Chipmunk Basic graphics window. Multiple shapefiles can be drawn together using different line weights and colors, allowing simple map overlays to be constructed.
CB Shapedraw supports point, multipoint, polyline, and polygon shape types.
This program is intended as a Chipmunk Basic programming example. Please see the web site for additional information including usage help.

This means that some values are stored "backwards" (most, actually, relative to the Macs native "big endian" byte order), which is the reason for the byte-by-byte math in the Read subroutines. Otherwise, input could probably be lots faster, using get to read a typed structure directly from file. Maybe thats possible anyway. Regardless, figuring out how to read a little-endian eight-byte double with Chipmunk Basic seemed pretty tricky.

Arena Crystalis is a purely experimental freeware game for the Macintosh.
Its a very simple game where you control a crystalline ship and fight for survival against other ones in a square arena, depending on the game rules set.
You can set your own challenge, choosing how long and challenging the battle will be against the computers, and you can challenge a friend or even team up with one against them.
There are up to 8 players, each of which controls a crystalline ship that can turn, jet forward or fire lasers. Each crystal has infinite fuel and infinite laser charges, and a life meter (which has a customizable initial level) that decreases when the crystal is hit by the white-hot tip of another crystals laser. There are also powerups that occasionally appear in the form of coins to help whoever can get to them first.
The goal of a game depends on the game mode and the many preferences set. There are tournament modes, deathmatch modes, and timed-tag modes, and you can play every-man-for-himself or make custom teams of human or computer players.

Crossword Puzzle Helper was developed to find words with a certain length when you do not know all the letters. Type in the search word using "?" for each unknown letter and press the "Start" button. All words meeting the search criteria will be displayed in the table. To search for another word, simply enter a new search word and click on the "Start" button. The table will be cleared and the new results will be displayed.
The default word set has over forty-eight thousand words. You may use the Maintenance window to add new words or delete words in your word set. The first time you launch the utility, the default word set will be loaded and saved. When you next launch the utility, your word set (with changes) will be loaded and when you quit, the current word set will be saved. You may also revert to the default word set by clicking on the "Use Default Word Set" button.
