In order for it to work you must have different options or goals that you can estimate how easy they are to accomplish, how much happiness theyll give you and how much it hurts if you fail. This program will do the rest for you.

A couple of friends recently asked me about where they could have a couple pages of text translated into readable english for them. I explained to them about using online translation engines, but unfortunately, these folks are far from skilled web users. I translated the docs for them. However, this made me think about providing a quick interface to the free services already on the web for you to use, and hence, the birth of jTranslator.

jTranslator interface to the most long lived and popular babel fish engine to translate between English, French, German, Italian and Spanish. The program however also provides some choices for having your text changed into a different dialect using another service available on the web. So you can have your text changed into dialects such as redneck, jive, elmer fudd and more.

SetFile is a small AppleScript for capturing and saving Macintosh "creator" and "type" information from an existing prototype file and to subsequently set "creator" and "type" fields on files to match the prototype file.

Drag a file to the icon. SetFile will display the creator and type for the file. If you would like to apply this creator and type to other files, select "Save". If you would like to apply the saved creator and type to this file, select "Overwrite". If neither of these choices is appropriate, select "Skip".

SetFile works on individual files, on selections of files, on folders full of files, and on sub-folders.
If used on collections of files, it will offer the choice of applying the saved creator/type to ALL files within the collection, or of stepping through the collection and Asking what to do for each file.

Cookie is an AppleScript quote/phrase/tip generator. Unlike others, its library is plain text, so you can add or edit anything. Supports an unlimited number of quotes.
It comes with large library of classic quotations.
Lets you choose between random or sequential choices (useful for training). Displays a large variety of great icons with the quotes, and user-chosen text for the OK button. Source code is commented.

Slide Freebie is an easy to use image viewer from Artly There Software for PPC Macintosh. It is the coolest little slide show viewer I know of. Plus it can convert images to another format, or rename them too.
You need not pay anything to use it. The author will not turn away any donations however, should you feel so inspired because he has put a lot of effort into it and made it way too nice to be free at this point. :)
