I built Rebuild playlist from burned CD to solve a problem when I had several mixed CDs I had made, all ended up scratched after months of usage in a car stereo.
The CDs had become scratched beyond enjoyable listening, the computer still recognized them, but I had long since deleted the playlist that would have allowed for this to be easily burned again.
Source included, as well as run only script that needs to be put in the iTunes scripts folder (included readme explains more about install, as well as more about the script).
