Capture Me is a screen capture utility for Mac OS X which features a floating capture window and resize ability.
Capture Me is very easy to use - just drag and resize the floating window to cover the area you want to capture. Then click in the window to capture the screenshot. You can resize it, copy it to the clipboard, and save it in a variety of formats and locations. Its behavior is customizable with respect to what happens after a capture.
What advantage does Capture Me hold over the built in OS X screencapture facility? For some tasks, the answer is simple - there is none - the built in capture is elegant and easy to use.
However, there are occasions when its nice to be able to choose what file format your capture saves in, copy it to the clipboard without holding down four keys at once, or resize it on the fly.
Its also common to want to take successive shots of the exact same position on the screen without moving the capture region at all, or make all your captures the same size.
These tasks are trivial with Capture Me, but difficult at best with the built in utilities. Another possible use is as a floating capture pad - see the comments in the review section for an example of one user who does this.

Take It! takes a screenshot of your current screen, puts it into a file, and uploads it to a webserver trought FTP. You can freely customize periods of time for your capture, and then see what its going on in your machine remotely.

Spindownfix tells the computer if the Energy Saver is off not to spindown non-boot volumes. This problem has been noted as a problemwhen doing video capture in Mac OS X, as frames get dropped if the hard drive isnt spinning when files are written to it.

Special Notes :
Before using Nikon View 6.2, all earlier versions of Nikon View (Nikon View 900, Nikon View 2.x, Nikon View DX, Nikon View 3.x, Nikon View 4.x, Nikon View 5.x, Nikon View 6.0) as well as Nikon Capture 1.x must be uninstalled. When using Nikon View 6 in combination with Nikon Capture 3 or Capture 4, be sure to use the latest versions of both (Nikon View and Nikon Capture) applications. Nikon Capture 2 is not compatible with this version of Nikon View. If you use Nikon Capture 2.x do not update to this version of Nikon View.

SnagWindow is an AppleScript that automates the "Screen Capture" window command in Mac OS.
