IP Monitor is a handy application which automatically displays the current IP network (or subnet mask) address of your Macintosh right onto your desktop.

With IP Monitor, youll no longer have to open the TCP/IP (or MacTCP) control panel in order to view your Macintoshs IP (or subnet mask) address.IP Monitor is scriptable.

AppleScript keeps an eye on one or more web pages through Safari, reloading them at specified intervals and reporting any changes it detects, both verbally and through a session log file.

BatteryAlarm warns when battery power is below a user-definable threshold (default = 5 minutes left).
BatteryAlarm is multiple-battery aware.

Place it anywhere and add to Login Items.

Battery Monitor is a simple application that records the performance of your battery over a discharge cycle by writing the power and estimated remaining time to a text file every minute. You can then use this list of values to see if it works as it should. (E.g., does it discharge fully or does it break down prematurely?)

Note that this tool does nothing magical. It simply records to a file what you can see when you use a stop watch and look at the battery indicator in the control strip or menu bar.

Since the values of every minute get recorded, you can use the output also to iport into a spreadsheet for making nice graphs. Its up to you to figure out how to do that.

USB Monitor eliminates the guess work. It pops up a little window and provides the name of the device thats just been plugged in (or unplugged).
The window follows the visual style of the transparent windows for volume and eject.

BatteryInfo is a Dashboard widget designed to be a better looking, dashboard based replacement for the menu bar battery monitor. Thanks go to Luis Moreno for the graphics and to Marc Wolfgram for helping implement dual battery support.
It has the ability to display the percentage charge remaining. It can also display the time remaining on current charge, although this feature is somewhat ugly and needs beautifying, so if anyone has any suggestions for making it look better, mail me! This widget is more accurate than other copies out there are it pulls its information from the same place as the Apple menubar item. It also looks nicer IMO ;)
