Installing the SuperDrive Firmware Update
Follow these steps to install the update:
1. Save all open documents and quit all applications.
2. Eject any disc that is in the SuperDrive by dragging the disc icon to the Trash.
3. Double-click the SuperDrive Firmware Update icon.
4. Type in your administrator password.
5. Click Update.

If you cannot update the firmware using this program, contact your local Apple Authorized Service Provider or an Apple Store retail location.

Important: Do not reset, shut down, or turn off power to your computer while updating the firmware. Doing so may damage your SuperDrive.

finder quit will fix a problem in MacOS 8 which occasionally occurs after mounting an AppleShare volume. Occasionally you will see the desktop icons dissappear and only reappear after selecting them all.
But even after they appear you will be unable to drag a file to another folder or volume.

QuickAccessCM is a contextual menu plug-in for easy access to frequently used folders, documents and applications. It can be used as a launcher, file commander or installer.
Main features:
- You may deactivate any module you do not need in QuickAccessSetup application
- "Quick Access" module is activated when you click on a desktop or any object (file or folder). Optionally, this menu can be active in all applications.
- "Move To", "Copy To" and "Make Alias In" modules are activated when you click on any object
- You can add any item (document, application or folder) to "Quick Access" menu.
- You can add folders or disks only to "Move To", "Copy To" and "Make Alias In" menus.
- QuickAccessCM stores items as aliases so if you move an item, the menu will still point to the right object.
- You can remove item from menu by selecting it with option (alt) key pressed.
- For "Move To", "Copy To" and "Make Alias In" only: you may choose to open the destination folder after the copy or move. This can be done by holding the shift key pressed when choosing an item in menu. Alternatively, if you always want to open the folder after move or copy (without the need to hold the shift key), you may set it via preferences (it is turned off by default).

RCEnvironment is a preference pane that allows a user to edit their ~/.MacOSX/environment.plist file. This file is simply a property list of keys and values that the login system will read and load into the process environment of all applications that are launched when the user logs in.
