Like most operating systems, Mac OS doesnt come out of the box to take full advantage of a high-speed, broadband internet connection.

Luckily, because of its Unix base, theres an easy fix for that. By making certain tweaks to your network settings, you may be able to almost double your download speeds.

Tile Switcher is a small and simple application switcher. Apple now includes an application switcher in Mac OS 8.6, but Tile Switcher has the advantage of being an application, having a smaller tile area, and having contextual menus.
You can drag files from the Finder onto an application tile to open the file with that application. Best of all, its free.

If you are tired of typing in your administrative password and you have a macro program Authentication Agent can do it for you.

The advantage of Authentication Agent over the use of a simple text shortcut is that in most cases Authentication Agent will type in your password and OK the dialog as well.

A text shortcut with return or enter at the end wont do that in some common situations. The Authentication Agent method also prevents your passwords being stored in clear text on your computers hard drive.

Shiira mini is a small and quick web browser widget which is designed to work on, and take advantage of, Dashboard.
Shiira mini is not limited web browser. It provides full features for browsing. Just shrink the image size. It supports also GIF animation and Flash. (Some plug-ins are not supported, ex. QuickTime plug-in.)
Since Shiira mini imports Shiira and Safari bookmarks, you can migrate with zero configuration. Bookmarks are displayed as HTML.
