Flash Video Downloader is a nice software that will help you to easily batch download and save streaming flash videos from most streaming video sites (e.g. youtube, google video, dailymotion, etc).
Main features:
- Locates the video files (.flv) for you so you dont have to deal with complicated "flash video downloading websites" or firefox extensions anymore

Capital Search is useful for either introducing or reviewing the concept of capitalization with mid-elementary-aged students. It starts off by having students pick out the proper noun in a pair of words.

It then has them pick out examples of other types of words that need to be capitalized, and it ends with a multiple-choice section that reviews all the above.

IP Monitor is a handy application which automatically displays the current IP network (or subnet mask) address of your Macintosh right onto your desktop.

Car Companion is a small utility written in Java to help keep track of your vehicles maintenance schedule. It allows you to keep track of multiple vehicles and lets you select and create maintenance items for your vehicle and the intervals at which they should occur. It also generates two reports for users. A vehicle sticker to keep in your car that tells you when maintenance needs to be performed, and a Service Report which shows a complete service history for the vehicle.
Car Companion is a Java based application that I began working on in July 2003. I wanted a tool to help me keep track of the maintenance that I do on my Jeep. I could not find anything out there that fit my needs, so I decided to write my own. This little program allows me to keep track of all my maintenance and print out reports and a sticker to keep in my glove box, so that I know when I need to perform the next oil change, replace the air filter, change the brakes, etc.
It is a free open source application. All of the source is available in a separate jar file that you can download. You can check out my project page at sourceforge.
I chose Java so that it could be run on any operating system: Mac, Unix, Linux, or Windows. The data is stored in a xml file so that it can be easily transferred to any database or xml supported program.
Enhancements:
- Fixed the cost conversion bug. It now sorts the services entered by date, so the newest always shows last.

MacASCII Display will display the decimal ASCII code, hexadecimal code, and binary equivalent for any key you press.
This can be especially useful for programmers. Plus, it can convert blocks of text to and from binary, hexadecimal, and decimal ASCII.
You can optionally display the hexadecimal and decimal ASCII codes in HTML-style for use in web pages.
Enhancements:
- corrected a bug introduced in version 1.3.1 where entered binary values above 0111 1111 were misinterpreted on the main window (bug was not present in the Table window or the Block Convert window)
- corrected an obscure bug where if a few certain characters were displayed in the main window (such as TAB and SPACE) and the "Show Decimal and Hex as HTML" option was toggled, the results were incorrect until the character was re-entered.
- other small improvements.

Agax is an antivirus application. It scans your disks and files for viruses. It also contains Defender, which is an antivirus extension. Both of these use Additives to discover and (in the case of Agax) repair infected files. Additives are stored in the folder Additives in the same folder as Agax.
Enhancements:
- This version is only a maintenance update.
- The main changes are that the Defender Log is limited in size, and Agax works under System 7 on a 68000 Mac.
- There are also a number of cosmetic improvements to answer questions I am frequently asked. In particular, the message reporting files that cannot be opened is less alarming.
- No new antivirus features have been added.
