Make Thumbnails creates JPEG thumbnails from one or more image files.
You can specify the size and quality level of the thumbnail.
It uses Mac OS Xs Scriptable Image Processing Server, which can read the following image formats: BMP, GIF, JPEG, JPEG2, MacPaint, PDF, Photoshop, PICT, PNG, PSD, QuickTime image, SGI, Text, TGA, and TIFF.

WebArchivConverter converts IE web archives into iCab web archives.

The program "WAC" converts the IE web archiv into a ZIP archive. The ZIP archive can be unpacked with StuffIt or ZipIt on the Mac, but it can also unpacked on DOS/Windows using PKZip or Unix using UnZip and any other computer platform. The ZIP archive can be directly loaded by iCab because iCab (since Preview 1.7) uses the ZIP archive format as its own web archive format.

I really really liked Konfabulator a few months ago. I even wrote a widget for it. But now, having expanded my repertoire to include cocoa, Ive gotten a bit bored with it. First of all, Konfabulator is rather limited in what it can do. Secondly, its slow. And third (and most important) it gobbles up RAM. My poor powerbook only has 384 megs, and 10.2 is a hog, so I really need to upgrade to more. But, since I havent yet, Ive been trying to limit my resource consumption (especially since I have project builder running almost all the time as of late) and Konfabulator is one of the things Ive decided to live without.

Ill probably turn it back on once Ive got more RAM. And it is still a neat little program, just not where my interests lie at the moment.

Nonetheless, it is useful. While Amazeing may be a silly widget, the ones that I normally have running are not. One of them is a little timer widget that would sit in the corner and I could turn on when I needed to time something. That has been no fun to be without, and I dont really like starting up konfabulator just for the timer widget.

Solution? I wrote my own. Enter JTimer.

Theres really not too much to it. Start it up, punch in your time, and shut the window (if youd like). It counts down in the dock til its done, giving you warnings and changing color as appropriate as it gets close. This aint rocket science here, people.

QuickTerm is a basic ASCII terminal emulator. It can use any attached serial port, whether built-in or installed using an adapter such as a Keyspan USB-to-serial adapter.
It allows full setting of serial port parameters, with or without handshaking.
The name QuickTerm alludes to the fact that I developed it quickly, forsaking features I dont need to get a decent serial terminal emulator up and running.
