It keeps you from having to FTP into the server to generate users starting directory.

There is a special username in CrushFTP that accepts all usernames and passwords. Basically its a catch all account. The special username is "template". You might be thinking...thats the same as the "anonymous" account. Well, its not. :) The anonymous account accepts all passwords, but only one username.
This plugin modifies the directory access of the "template" user on the fly. The user connects and is allowed to login regardless of username and password. The plugin then verifies if a folder exists for their username, and if it doesnt, it promptly disconnects them. If it does, they are given full rights to that particular folder.
This makes it incredibly easy for you to create and delete accounts.
It also lets you allow someone who isnt technical do it for you.
