Play MiniTunes is a iTunes quick song player and controller. iTunes quick song player and controller
It has two functions. One is the song "search-and-play" in which you type the song or artist name, hit the return key and presto your song starts playing! If more than one song matches the criteria, all matches are displayed and you make pick which one you want to play.
If you do the artist search, all songs by that particular artist is brought up. The second half is a nice and easy controller where it displays the track info, plus fast forward/next track, play/pause, rewind/back track, mute on/off and volume control.
Also in the application menu you are able to open the iTunes prefs, and use shuffle, repeat, rank current song out of 5 stars, set genre and more.

Say-iTunes reads album, artist, song name or genre from iTunes listings using the 12 different Apple OS integrated voices at any time the song is playing.

During the period Say-iTunes speaks, the music is gently tuned down.

Now Playing [X] iTunes X-Chat Aqua Script - Control iTunes via scripts.
np[X] is an iTunes script for X-Chat on OSX. It has several features, including the ability to control iTunes (pause, play, stop, next, back, random, etc), Announcer, Auto-Announce, CTCP GETSONG, Goto, Remote control, Userlist buttons, and more. Im updating it frequently.
Thanks to Juan Rojas (j4rg0n), and Nick Jenkin for their great scripts of which some code may be based on and of which helped me learn more about perl, and scripting X-Chat. Check the script for help, and editable variables (Above and below where the commands are registered.)

Kung-Tunes (was iTunesTrackInfo) retrieves the currently playing audio track in iTunes and uploads it to a webserver. Any scripts on that webserver can then access the uploaded file to dynamically display iTunes tracks on a webpage.
Either manually or at timed intervals, iTunesTrackInfo retrieves the currently playing iTunes track, saves it to file, and uploads the file to a specified webserver.
To finally display iTunes track details on your website, you need to create a php or perl script. Details are shown in the accompanying readme file.
Before installing this version, please delete your old copy of Kung-Tunes first.

Ircle controls iTunes is a set of AppleScripts that will let you launch iTunes, start playing songs, change volume and more all without lifting your hands from the keyboard.

/play - will start playing a song in the current library in iTunes
/song - will display only to you what song is currently playing
/psong - will broadcast to the current channel what song is currently playing
/next - will switch to the next song in iTunes, and display to you what the new song is
/pause - will pause the current song in iTunes
/stop - will stop playing whatever song is playing in iTunes
/vl - will set the volume in iTunes to 10 (out of 100)
/vm - sets iTunes volume to 50
/vh - sets iTunes volume to 90
/vd - will lower the iTunes volume by 10
/vu - will raise the iTunes volume by 10.

iTunesBlog is an AppleScript that will post your currently playing iTunes song to a blog.

Requires some editing to enter configuration information (one time only) and you must be logged in as an Administrator.

iTunes-BPM is a nice and simple Mac Widget for setting the BPM of the current track playing in iTunes.

All you do is click the left button (or any key on your keyboard except for „s“) with the beat.

After the number remains constant for a while, stop clicking and watch the background flashing rhythmically. If it fits the beat, click the left button (or type „s“), and it will set the BPM for the current track in iTunes.

If it doesn’t fit the beat, wait for three seconds and the BPM will reset.

iTunes2Manila is a small AppleScript that enables you to automatically upload your currently playing iTunes song to your weblog as a News Item.
It dumps the currently playing iTunes song as a news item to your Manila web log.
