Battleships Game 1.0 is an impressive and unique game which will catch your attention immediately.

The enemy fleet has been located under the command of Admiral Komputer, but do not yet have visual contact. The best course of action is to fire at random into their vicinity and listen for the impact of the shells, and has likewise been forced to resort to the same tactics as ourselves. The duration of the current play list is displayed at the bottom of the iTunes window, but the value shown is not usually accurate enough because of the units used (for example, 76,77, 78, 79, and 80 minutes will all show as 1.3 hours).

To use the script just save it in a folder called Scripts inside the iTunes folder in the Library folder in your Home folder. A Scripts menu will then appear in the iTunes menu bar and you can then run the script by choosing it in the menu.

Play Sound provides a simple, no-fuss way to play sound files in classic Mac OS and Mac OS X. It supports QuickTime sound files (for example, AIFF or MP3 files), Mac OS System 7 sound files (files with a file type of sfil that contain snd resources), or any snd resources embedded into any file.
You can play an unlimited number sounds concurrently or one at a time. You can loop sounds, repeat sounds, control the volume of sounds played, and press the Escape or Command-Period keys to abort sound play.
To use Play Sound as a simple sound file player, simply drag and drop the sound file(s) onto the Play Sound icon in the Mac OS Finder. Play Sound is also fully scriptable, allowing AppleScript writers to use simple, easy-to-understand English syntax to play most QuickTime-supported sound files, Mac OS System 7 sound files, and snd resources that are embedded in script applets. To script Play Sound, you call it from an AppleScript script or application.

FSPlayQTMovie is a small REALbasic plugin that allows you to play movies without using a movie player. Mainly for playing MIDI files which will only open using a movie player.
