Battleship Suite is a network battleship game package, including client and server, which allows you to play battleship over the internet or over your local area network, chat with your friends and to get into the highscore list.
I did this together with Martin Giese, a good friend of mine, primarily because weve known each other for fourteen years, but never programmed anything together.. The sources are also available.
Enhancements:
- Client: - fixed a bug where BSClient wouldnt resolve the given server address correctly.

blast is a command to send a mass plain-text e-mail to all the addresses in standard input. It can also send attachments. Sendmail must already be configured on the computer for blast to work. A HTML version is being developed.

Missile Command is a great dashboard widget that allows you to play a classic arcade game. The goal of the game is to defend cities against missiles.

fscript Command-line Tool has a command-line interface to the F-Script interpreter, including useful enhancements for Perl/Python - like processing of strings and files.

fscript is a program that allows F-Script scripts to be run from the command line. It also provides some useful classes and methods that make the language more appropriate for general scripting tasks, such as line-oriented input/output, regular expressions, and a library importing system.

In this documentation, fscript is used to refer exclusively to the command-line program, while "F-Script Interpreter" refers to the internal FSInterpreter object that actually does the real work of running the script.

Play Sound provides a simple, no-fuss way to play sound files in classic Mac OS and Mac OS X. It supports QuickTime sound files (for example, AIFF or MP3 files), Mac OS System 7 sound files (files with a file type of sfil that contain snd resources), or any snd resources embedded into any file.
You can play an unlimited number sounds concurrently or one at a time. You can loop sounds, repeat sounds, control the volume of sounds played, and press the Escape or Command-Period keys to abort sound play.
To use Play Sound as a simple sound file player, simply drag and drop the sound file(s) onto the Play Sound icon in the Mac OS Finder. Better yet, configure the Finder to open sound files with Play Sound when you double-click them (see the Play Sound documentation for easy instructions showing how to do this).
Play Sound is also fully scriptable, allowing AppleScript writers to use simple, easy-to-understand English syntax to play most QuickTime-supported sound files, Mac OS System 7 sound files, and snd resources that are embedded in script applets. To script Play Sound, you call it from an AppleScript script or application.
