AsteroidsQC is intended as a developer example, using Quartz Composer as a game prototyping tool. AsteroidsQC currently requires you have OS X Tiger (10.4.x) or above installed, as well as Quartz Composer (available as part of Apples free developer tools).
The file is a fully playable, raster version of the classic 1979 Asteroids game by Atari. Ive tried to keep to the original game-play, so watch out for the small saucers - they can be crafty little sods ;-) Quartz Composer doesnt have any sound playback ability so this is currently a mute example.
I plan to wrap this QC file in a regular Cocoa app bundle and add the sound from that side. Have fun, let me know what you think.

play list writer is a poor mans CD case insert maker more>>
play list writer is a poor mans CD case insert maker. It takes the play list showing in iTunes and places it in an AppleWorks document ready for printing. The duration of each track in the play list is also included.
To use the script, save it in a folder called Scripts inside the iTunes folder in the Library folder in your Home folder. A Scripts menu containing the name of the script will then appear in the iTunes menu bar. To use it for the currently showing play list you just run the script by choosing it in the Scripts menu, modify the resulting AppleWorks document as you wish, then print the document out.
If you cut the resulting page to 4.75 inches wide by 9.5 inches long and fold it in half it will be just the right size to slide into a CD case.
