JPhotar 1.0 is yet another excellent utility you should not miss. It is actually a free and open source photo archiver and viewer that can archive and sort your photos.

JPhotar provides fully drag/drop (both internal as well as with native applications like Explorer etc.). Just drag and drop your photos in or out of your image folders.

Java Snippet Runner 1.02 is a versatile which allows to enter some short pieces of Java code and can run them immediately. Methods, classes or imports are not possible (technically the piece of code is wrapped into a class with a main method). The tool is thought for pupils and students who start programming with Java.

Requirements: Java 1.4 or higher.

pyftpd 0.8.4.5 provides great addition to your browser. it is designed to be a free and multi-platform ftp daemon written in Python. pyftpd is capable of working under normal user account and does not require any special rights to start.

Thanks to the modular design, there are possibly many different authentification schemes, most notably anonymous user authentification, authentification from internal database of users (these are virtual users, independent from the operating system users), and authentification against PAM[1].

pyftpd uses its own permission modules, and can pinpoint user permissions down to a simple file and simple ftp operation. pyftpd uses python threads; if your python interpreter was compiled without thread support, it will use forking instead, with limited functionality (limiting number of simultaneously logged users and some other options wont work). If neither threads nor fork is available, pyftpd will serve just one connection at a time.

FET version 5 is released. You are encouraged to use it, because of the new much better algorithm. The new 5 series version seems to be very performant. It might be comparable to expensive timetabling software. The solution is usually obtained in maximum 5-20 minutes.
