Timed Recording is a Coaster script allows you to delay the start of a recording, and to specify the length of a recording.
You can optionally specify a segment length and the recording will be saved in chunks, which makes recording hours of content more feasible.
For example, you could have it broken into 80 minute chunks for CD use, or 30 minute chunks for archiving as MP3s.

theWord is an audio Bible, unlike any other you may have used before. Instead of simply being a recording of someone reading the Bible, theWord uses Apples powerful voice synthesis to read the Bible to you. With the built in database, theWord is able to navigate to the exact book, chapter, and verse you want to hear.
Because it uses voice syntheses, instead of recordings, it is a very small download, and does not use excess space on your computer. A traditional audio bible recording can span many CDs. This also allows us to offer this software to you for FREE.
A traditional audio recording of the bible also makes it difficult to listen to your favorite passages. It is broken up in to tracks based on the chapter. theWord can index the entire bible by verse, so you can pinpoint the passage you want to hear, and create a bookmark of that passage. Despite this, it has fairly good compatibility with original BBC software, allowing you to play titles such as Elite without problems.
The Mac OS X version adds an improved GUI and significantly improved sound to the original version.
