This game may appeal to anyone four years and up. Mimic helps you practice memory skills. The computer plays a short series of tones and the player tries to duplicate the tones. A score is kept to show how well the player is performing.
Mimic is a game of remembering a sequence of tones. The game starts when you press the "Start to Play" button. The "My Turn" window backdrop changes from white to light yellow, you hear three tones and the buttons light up as those tones are played.
Then it is your turn. The "Your Turn" window changes from white to light yellow and you have three chances to enter the sequence you heard. If you are successful, the computer will play the previous sequence plus one more tone and then it is your turn again.
Windows on the page provide information on your score this game, the number of errors this game, the highest score for this session and feedback on your performance for this game.

OpenSwing contains a set components that are more sophisticated of those provided with Swing and can be manipolated directly inside the UI designer of the IDE.
OpenSwing is also a framework that provides data binding mechanism between components and data model, based on the MVC paradigm. Data model is based on Java Beans (POJOs) and it is supported in all OpenSwing components, such as Grid control or components container.
OpenSwing provides a complete solution (advanced swing components with data binding capabilities and a framework) to easily and quickly develop rich-client applications.
It is possibile to apply this framework to develop java Desktop Applications or Rich Internet Applications (three tiered applications based on Swing front-end + HTTP + java servlet + database).
NOTE: OpenSwing is licensed and provided under the terms of the GNU Lesser General Public License.
