  1. DescriptionSparkle_Test.html.
  2. Create the file Info.plist and copy it in the bundle Sparkle Test.app (Sparkle Test:Contents :)
  3. Copy Sparkle.framework in the bundle Sparkle Test.app (Sparkle Test:Contents :MacOS :)
  4. Copy dsa_pub.pem in the bundle Sparkle Test.app (Sparkle Test:Contents :Resources :)
  5. Compress Sparkle Test.app in Sparkle_Test_X.X.X.zip where X.X.X is the version number.
  6. Create the application signature.
  7. XSparkle_Test.xml.
  8. Sparkle_Test.xml.

- Experimental support for IPv6 - mainly untested.
- Connection Import/Export
- Connection definitions can be exported and imported, including their certificates. Exported definitions can be protected by a password.
- Certificate Import/Export
- PKCS#12, DER encoded and password protected PEM encoded certificates and private keys can be imported - export into PKCS#12, DER and PEM encoded files.
- Protection
- A connection definition can be protected (read-only, invisible, disallow export etc.) to give an administrator more control over the connections installed on client machines.
- New GUI
- Better handling of certificates, more information on connection status, display of configuration problems, better log display, log export
- Various background enhancements
- All kernel API now done without external helpers, network/configuration changes will now automatically restart the connections without user interaction, keep-alive pings to keep connections up and automatic restart of failed connections.

SparkleUtil_II 2.2.6 is developed to be a handy program which is designed with RealBasic and using Sparkle.framework (Sparkle Version 1.5 Cocoa distributed by Monkeybread Software) to help with updating.

SparkleUtil allows to patch automatically an application and produce the necessary files for uploading to your site an update of your application. If one assume that the application name is Sparkle Test.app, SparkleUtil_II performs various tasks. It can update an application using Carbon Sparkle.framework version 1.1 as a system update, in an application using Sparkle.framework version 1.5 Cocoa.

Major Features:

  1. Create DescriptionSparkle_Test.html.
  2. Create the file Info.plist and copy it in the bundle Sparkle Test.app (Sparkle Test:Contents :).
  3. Copy Sparkle.framework in the bundle Sparkle Test.app (Sparkle Test:Contents :MacOS :).
  4. Copy dsa_pub.pem in the bundle Sparkle Test.app (Sparkle Test:Contents :Resources :).
  5. Compress Sparkle Test.app in Sparkle_Test_X.X.X.zip where X.X.X is the version number.
  6. Create the application signature.
  7. Create XSparkle_Test.xml.
  8. Create Sparkle_Test.xml (for compatibility with Sparkle Version 1.1 Carbon.)

SSCrypto.framework 1.0

SSCrypto.framework 1.0

SSCrypto.framework - Crypto framework which uses OpenSSL more>>
Ever wanted to add OpenSSL encryption and decryption to your Cocoa application? Or maybe you just want to do checksums like SHA1 or MD5? Or maybe you want to do both? Maybe you just think the OpenSSL library is kinda ugly to use and wish you had a nice simple open source wrapper around all that? One that can easily be used in commercial software? Well, arent you lucky?

SSCrypto.framework provides a simple wrapper around OpenSSL library functions for encryption, decryption (both symmetric and RSA) and checksums. It also encodes and decodes base64 data. A test tool is included in the project.

Note: There are sample PEM files in the project for use by the test tool: DO NOT USE THEM IN YOUR PROJECTS.

gnoMint 1.0.0

gnoMint 1.0.0

Verification authority management made easy more>> Verification authority management made easy

gnoMint is an X.509 Certification Authority management tool. gnoMint allows any person to run a Certification Authority, creating certificates for any purpose: e-mail signing and/or crypting; TLS authentication through web, VPNs or other protocols; secured web-servers...
Its development was started due to the lack of a just-works CA software: creating a CA from zero, through open-source command-line utilities, was possible, but was unconfortable to remember all the neccessary parameters.
And you had to create a difficult configuration file. So here it is gnoMint, and it will help all network and systems administrators to deploy a Certification Authority very easily.

Main features:
- Creating all the infrastructure to keep and run a Certification Authority, saved in only one file.
- Create Certification Signing Requests, allowing to export them to PKCS#8 files, so they can be send to other CAs.
- Create X.509 certificates, with a usual set of subject-parameters.
- Export certificates and private keys to PEM files, so they can be used by external applications.
- For each CA, establish a set of policies for certificate generation.
- Import CSRs made by other applications
- Export PKCS#12 structures, so the certificates can be imported easily by web and mail clients.
- Revoke certificates, and generate the corresponding CRLs
- Allow the possibility of keeping the CA private key, or other private keys, in external files or devices (as USB drives)
- Allow the management of a whole hierarchy of CAs, with their respectives certificates.
- Import pre-existing Certification Authorities, with all their data.
- Allow an easy CA operation from command-line tools, for batch certificate creation, or integration with other utilities.

Enhancements
- Added a new full Russian translation, thanks to Aquanaut. Added Finnish translation.
- Other updated translations: Spanish, Slovak.
- Added forgotten crlgen function to gnomint-cli text-based interface.
- Fix compilation with GnuTLS 2.8.0.
- While creating a new certificate, the program now checks if new cert expiration date is after the CA expiration date. In that case, the program shows an info message and set the new cert expiration date to the CA expiration date.

- VPN access - to provide a much higher level of security than username/password access
- Client SSL authentication - to authenticate a person to a Web Server, such as to restrict access to a subversion repository or other online content
- Server SSL authentication - to authenticate a Web Server to people within the community
Main features:
- General Purpose certificates (for secure email, VPN and/or client SSL use)
- SSL server certificates
- RSA 1024/2048/4096 key lengths, SHA-1/256/384/512 digest algorithms
