PDF Equation gives you quick access to LaTeXs typesetting power in almost every Mac OS X application.
Just type a LaTeX snippet, render a it and drag the resulting PDF file into your Keynote presentation or wherever you need it. PDF Equation is document-based, so you can save your equations for later use.

PDF Document Inspector is a browser of a PDF documents contents. If youre not doing something pretty down-and-dirty with PDF, I cant imagine how it would be useful to you. On the other hand, if you are working with the innermost bits of a PDF file (like I was with Cheap Impostor), I cant think of any other tool out there that would help you figure out whats going wrong.

I wrote PDF Document Inspector as a part of developing my shareware application, Cheap Impostor. PDF Document Inspector is merely a wrapper over the PJX library I used to parse the input documents in Cheap Impostor. I found it invaluable for debugging, and I thought it might be useful to the community at large.

PDF Analyzer is a programm to view objects of a PDF file and to export images.

A PDF file is a collection of objects, of which each has an objectnumber and a generation number. The combination of objectnumber and generation number is unique in a PDF file. The objects are not in a particular order.

Some objects have a type and a subtype. Images for example have the type "Xobject" and the subtype "Image".

Each object has a dictionary with properties of the object. Images have the "Width" and "Height" property.

Some objects have streams which are long strings of binary data. Most time, streams are compressed, or "filtered". The filter is specified in the dictionary.

What is PDF Converter?
It is an Automator action that allows you to convert text/image files to PDF format.
How to use it?
Open Automator and select the PDF icon you will see PDF Converter. You can combine with other actions to integrate a complete task and save as a workflow.
The PDF Converter includes a workflow file. After you install it in a proper location, you then have the ability to use Contextual Menu to convert files to PDF format.

How do I install ?
Click PDF Converter Installer to install the action file. The PDF Converter.action file will be placed into ~/Library/Automator/.
The including Converter.workflow file you need to manually drag it into ~/Library/Workflows/Applications/Finder/. (If you cannot find the Automator folder or Workflows folder in ~/Libray, create them by yourself. The directories under the Workflows folder you may also need to create them as well).
